Forgettable experience… It might be different for those who eat meat. The meatless option was tasteless, bland and also cold. No kick whatsoever, no taste, nothing… Thankfully there’s soy sauce on the tables and you can add it on. I wish they had chilli flakes or something else to give it some taste. Service is not great. They greet you as if you were lost and looking for the train station. The young lady who served me was not warm at all. She was a bit abrupt. If you still wish to visit this overrated place, get there at noon or a few minutes after. During the week it becomes extremely busy during lunch and you can tell the team is unable to cope. Not only they have to deal with people queuing up outside but they have also have to sort out the many deliveries being picked up by couriers. Don’t waste your time. You can get more value for money elsewhere.

Update: Changed to 4 stars to better reflect my opinion about this place :) ----- While the whole ramen is fine-ish (4 stars no more), what upsets me is the constant false advertisement (IMO) on the egg - they serve you a regular soft-boiled egg instead of a marinated egg. This is not a 1-time exception, as I’ve been here several times. So either they don’t really care/know how to cook the eggs, or they deliberately consider it’s fine to underdeliver. Also, this time 1 ingredient was missing from my Royal ramen (corn). Not cool. Update to the reply: - The egg looks like a regular egg and tastes like a regular egg. Don’t know what you marinate in, but I didn’t notice it. Could be me, readers are free to take sides on their own :) - There was no corn. I mean it's kinda offensive that you think that I wasn't able to find corn in a bowl of ramen.

The best noodle but bland soup. I ordered small royal red miso ramen with separated spicy sauce. The noodle is superb, it's at the right level of softness, very good feeling when chewing it, the best in Paris I have to say. The egg yolk is at the right state, cooked but not too dry. The pork meets the standard. However, all the good things above are ruined by the soup. It is so bland and lack of body. Even after I added some spicy sauce with the hope that it will improve the blow, it's only spicy with no other compliment flavours. If anyone from the restaurant read this, please improve your soup, it's the most vital part of ramen! Apart from that, the service is good. The restaurant also receive ticket restaurant.
