Absolutely delicious food in an adorable little restaurant near Etienne Marcel. Had an artichoke hearts appetizer that was quite unique. They were shredded like cabbage giving the dish the look of cole slaw. They must have been baby artichokes because they didn’t appear to be cooked but were pretty tender. I got the eggplant appetizer as my main dish. I call it eggplant melanzana which is usually cooked, sliced eggplant layered with mozzarella and sauce. This had no mozzarella and was layered with generous amounts of Parmesan. The eggplant tasted like it was almost caramelized. Absolutely delicious. Hubs got veal Marsala. The veal was quite tender but the Marsala sauce was a bit too sweet for me and not quite winey enough. Still, it was quite good. It came with some very tasty cooked spinach. No room for dessert. We sat outside on a balmy early June night and enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the...

Really cosy restaurant with outdoor seatings on the street. Arrived at 10pm on a Monday and it was full! Initially popped by to take away a salad but their options didn’t really suit my diet (no uncooked meats/soft cheese) - the server gave me 2 suggestions, and I ended up going for the Spaghetti alla putanesca despite wanting something light for dinner.

It tasted so good even after leaving it for a full hour before I ate it - full of flavour, with enough spiciness (they might have added more for my benefit). It still tasted good the next morning when I reheated the leftovers, because the portion was massive! If I had another night, I would come back and have the same...

The food was average overall considering the meat was chewy, the sauce by the escalope was nice, the spinach was outstanding and the potatoes were average. Maybe i should have ordered something else.

The waiters were very friendly.

What is surprising is after giving them a review on a different platform, where i say the service is good, the ambiance is good but the food is simply not delicious, they reply back with a disrespectful and non-professional reply to my review. This is not acceptable, shame on you. The only reason i’m still giving 2 stars is thanks to how friendly...

They were very busy but accommodated us with no reservation. Food was amazing and in my opinion cheap for the quality/diversity of dishes. We ended up ordering all the specials. The service was a touch slow and out of sync with other tables around us but it's hard to say that was an issue as they were working very hard to serve the huge amount of guests with limited staff. If we are back in the area, we'd visit again in a heartbeat.
