P'tit Coco — Restaurant in Paris

We had lunch there today. The weather was still good in this mid-september so we ate on terrace. I had a croque monsieur with fries, a salad, a glass of wine. The whole thing was followed by an expresso. Everything tasted great. The waitress was very nice and always attentive. Having been to quite of restaurants in Paris this restaurant has the best bathroom: sufficient space, very clean, and all the equipment works. Another important point is that the bathroom is located on the ground floor. No need to risk life and limb down a ridiculous spiral stairway to reach...

A dinner in a tipically paris cafè ! We went here to have dinner. The local is very kind with its tipically paris atmoshpere (blurred lights) and the possibility to have seats outside. But we want to appreciate the waiter for his kind and sunshine. He was very kind to explain some dishes and wine. We took tipically france cheese and cured meat as ham, salami and so on. Siamo stati a cena in questo locale sia perché era molto vicino al nostro hotel sia perché ci affascinava la tipicità del Bistrot parigino con sedie di paglia, illuminazione soffusa, bancone con importanti bottiglie e camerieri in divisa bianca e nera. Le nostre aspettative sono state pienamente ripagate. Il menù è ricco di proposte sia dolci che salate e hanno un'ampia carta di vini, birre (sia alla spina che in bottiglia) e distillati. Proposte sia francesi ma anche europee. Noi abbiamo assaggiato: nems poulet (involtini fritti con pollo, verza e spezie), hamburger al bacon con patate fritte (rigorosamente fatte in casa), croque Madame (una specialità parigina a base di pane tostato con formaggio, prosciutto e uovo), un wok di riso e pollo al curry e, come degna conclusione, un ricco piatto di assaggi di formaggi locali, accompagnati da frutta essicata e l'immancabile e inimitabile pane francese. I camerieri sono stati gentili e molto cordiali, venendo incontro anche alle nostre limitate capacità linguistiche (parlano anche bene l'inglese ma a noi piaceva praticare un po' il francese...). La location davvero tipica, con oggetti molto caratteristici in esposzione nella sala interna e un grande dehors coperto che affaccia proprio su Place d'Italie.
