My family and I were staying right across the street and after a long day decided to stop in and eat. We were seated right away (this was about 330pm). The escargot was TO DIE FOR HERE. I will have dreams about it lol. Absolutely delicious, served with bread. We also had a chicken caesar salad that was fantastic. My mother in law can not stop talking about the french onion soup she had there. Our server was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. For the 4 of us (1 child), starters, meals and drinks it was about 113 Euro which I thought to be very reasonable. Eat here! You won't regret it.

We had an amazing meal at Primerose. In Paris for the Olympics, the meal we had the night prior was just ok so we were hoping that Primerose would be a lot better. It did not disappoint. Service was super friendly. The salmon tataki was great and the accompanying vegetables were delicious! Others had Tuna Nicoise and Steak. Both of those meals were also delicious. We were undecided on dessert but then the server recommended the profiteroles and OMG. A great way to spend an evening in Paris watching the closing ceremony

For dijione (lunch), best husband and I walked to this place that was not far from our hotel. We used google translate for the menu board. I thought I wanted the sea bass until I got the menu. They have menus in English and the staff speak English. Best husband got a burger (med well) and frites (fries) and I got the braised lamb shank. It was tre excellent! I also got a Mojito that was really good ($54 euros). I’m ready to go explore more and get some pastries and cafe allonge (American coffee).

Sadly can’t recommend it. The service was very rushed and not paying attention to details or listening. Fast food vibes rather than restaurant. The food was awful. the duck was firstly undercooked to raw, impossible to cut or eat. I asked for another one which was overcooked and very firm and chewy, can’t be eaten. the fries that came with the duck and the burger were overcooked in old oil and seemed from the worst potatoes on the market. the chicken and the croutons from the Caesar salad were also very firm and chewy. Impossible to eat. Seems like the ingredients are poor quality or the chef doesn’t know how to cook them?

One of the waiters seemed nicer when I explained however no solution other than apologies and we still paid the full price even if more than half of the order was not edible.

Overall a disappointing experience and lack...

I had a terrible experience here with the food. On Monday I ordered the dish of the day . Sirloin steak , medium cooked. Very chewy and non edible. I also ordered a small beer , I was given a large by mistake, once the waiter realised he still charged me for a large, when he said he would rectify HIS error. When the steak was not eaten and handed back , I was still charged for it which is fine, I just wanted to leave an honest review of my experience in return. The chef should very embarrassed to send out such bad quality. Would I eat there again or recommend to any friends.....definitely not. I hope making the extra euros...
