Here is an interesting concept: your savory dishes are crafted and dressed like desserts. This restaurant is located in calm side street, close to the lively and busy Pigalle (plenty of bar options after dinner). The young service staff was attentive and reactive to our demands. They did take care of their customers as they set some portable heaters (I can't imagine how cold it could be without heaters). On top of an interesting menu, there is a good selection of white and red wines -make sure to ask for recommendation if you are undecided. Now comes what one comes for: the dishes that sound and look like dessert. Prior to the main event we tried the onion soup dressed as a cappuccino. The soup was oniony but a bit too creamy and the consistency not thick enough. A cheesy taste was also missing. The burger (and its three fries shaped like churros) was tasty: finally a burger with a really taste of meat! We would have like more fries, as only three (however big) are hard to share -we didn't find the dipping to be particularly good. The floating island (ile flottante) was a combination of packed macaroni floating in the middle of a "mushroomy" sauce: make sure to sauce your macaroni bite or you'll get a very salty surprise. The fish (shaped as a pancake) was flaky and tasty. While the main dishes were good, the desserts were a bit disappointing. The sole real dessert (the chocolate fondant) was delicious -the pineapple (shaped as fried breaded fish sticks coming with a strawberry grout) and the "pain perdu" were so-so and overpriced for the quantity in the plate. The staff was very kind, the venue was nothing special (but I sat outside) and the food looked super good. Unfortunately the first impression was misleading, I am really disappointed by the taste: The Chou looked nice, but the components were not flavoured and composed well: the passion fruit was so sour it felt like etching your mouth and tongue, the gambas were flavourless, the wasabi not noticeable, the dish overall to sweet and both salt and pepper were lacking. The pétit dejournee consisted of a „Cappuccino“ (sauce/soup: super fatty, no salt, dead cooked carrots in there with no texture left, also some meat without any special taste) and a „pain au chocolate“ (the meat was good and soft, but the mushroom cream was not notable, the dough around it was very sweet and not baked thoroughly, also salt lacking there again). At last the famous sponge cake: the „foam“ was very tasty, the „dish soap“ was balanced, the „sponge“ (pistachio biscuit) also not well baked through, a bit dry and again not very tasty. I am really sorry for having to write such a bad review, I had been hoping for at least one excellent dish. Nous nous sommes présenté dans cette établissement à 12h40 à cause de problème de transport vue que 'nous venions de loint, la réservation étant pour 12h (selon leur site il est marqué que la table est réservée pendant 2h00). Nous nous sommes quand même présenté au comptoir, le serveur nous dis que la table est déjà attribuée parce que nous avions dépassé de 25 min l'horaire SAUF que ces conditions sont affichées nulle part sur le site de réservation. Mais nous nous attendions a un refus.

Au moment de tourner les talons, le serveurs nous dit que c'est bon il va s'arranger.

Très bien à partir de là nous aurions dû être accueilli comme des clients l'embda si je peux dire. Et bien non. On nous mets la pression pour prendre les plats, qu'il faut vite choisir. Au moment de la commande, en arrivant au dessert on nous dit que on verra parce que "On a pas le temps".

Nous mangons dans le stress, on nous balance les plats comme si nous étions puni, on nous ne demande pas si c'était bon,

Nous n'avons apprécié ni l'entrée, ni le plat (sachant que à part nous aucune table de trois était dans le restaurant, donc à qui a été attribué notre table ? )

Bref quand nous avions bien stresser et n'avions pris aucun plaisir à manger, au moment de débarrasser, le serveur nous dit que "finalement c'est bon la table d'à côté s'est libérer donc vous avez le temps" (y'en a eu 3 table de libéré en même temps) .

Nous répondons que l'accueil n'étant pas à la hauteur nous ne resterons pas et ne commanderons pas de dessert (perte de chiffres d'affaires) . Le serveur ne comprends pas, nous remballe, nous répète 4 fois que on avait 40 minutes de retard, que à 14h la table devait être libre Etc....

Nous lui répondons qu'à partir du moment où il nous "fais asseoir" l'incident est clos.

Il envoi balader tout le monde. Au moment de payer nous ne disons rien, le serveur nous encaisse téléphone à la main et se permet de rajouter "merci pour votre amabilité" mais de l'amabilité de qui on parle là ? D'un serveur dépassé par une salle à moitié vide, qui dès qu'il y a un peu de pression parle à ces clients comme ci nous étions ses enfants, et qui au moment de lui dire qu'on vient de loint nous réponds "peu m'importe".

Vraiment déjà que le carde est sommaire, la nourriture est sans goût, les prix chèrs, il serait bien que le serveur apprenne la définition de "l'amabilité" afin de ne pas la réclamer aux clients et de ce...
