Edit: See my older, extremely positive review below. I am talking about the restaurant + sandwich shop across and not the other restaurant across but don't plan to ever go back.
It is just incredible how with the change of the chef (very recently & confirmed) and perhaps also the management, how much a place can change. Went there again yesterday taking a friend whom I bragged about how amazing they are. Only to be completely disappointed to eat extremely average, overcooked, terrible meat. Ordered the brochette d'agneau (lamb) and it was like eating cold rocks and gave both of us a bad stomach.
Ordered the special recommendation plate of 'Alan Geaam' a beautifully plated mix that felt like the ingredients were slightly better but again extremely average poor tasting food and an absolute disaster. I apologized to my friend for having spoken so highly of the place, paid for his meal as compensation and left hoping we weren't going to be sick.
The lady serving us was very kind and she was the only positive thing now about the place but even she was all by herself for the entire restaurant and people had to go find her to pay their bills. Clearly under some new terrible management and a chef who couldn't care less, damaging the name they'd started to build.
Had the terrible idea of using their restroom before leaving and I've unfortunately seen public restrooms in much better condition.. Can't trust a place like that anymore. For hygiene, cooking or anything else.
Never coming back here again. A real shame.
Original review: Well worth the money and really well prepared dishes. We ordered the menu for less than 20€ and was too full to finish the meal. Great...
Read moreI’ve heard the hype of this place from London and on Lebanese social media, so told myself to give it a try whilst I’m on my trip to Paris. I arrived around 7:30 pm, The service was fast, efficient and pleasant. I ordered the chicken and veal shawarma and asked if there was a place to sit inside the front of the restaurant, I was told that there is no room to accommodate and that I had to sit outside on the tables, so I asked are there any heaters provided since it’s pretty cold outside. The waiter responded with that’s all that they can do. So I barged in the restaurant to take a glance and the back of the restaurant seemed to be empty, so I was told I could sit on the bar where the other waitresses were packaging the baklava. The restaurant manager then told me that I could sit on a table towards the back of the restaurant, however the table behind me is reserved for 8:30 pm, I don’t see the need or the importance of the comment.
The shawarma arrived and they looked pretty big. I’ve unwrapped my first sandwich which was a chicken shawarma and the first thing I noticed that the meat was pink, so I’ve had this same happen to me before in Lebanon and I was told it is to do with the type of chicken (i.e. organic), however this wasn’t the case this time since the rest of the chicken meat was cooked; so I was disappointed and questioned if I started eating it would I have salmonella? The second meat shawarma was nice and tender.
The desert was delicious and highly recommend due to its portion size and the ice-cream which is from the famous Bechir of Lebanon 🇱🇧
Tracey our waitress was amazing and she definitely went over and beyond with providing the best...

I couldn't agree more with message that this restaurant sends with the neon lights on the ceiling and it's lip smacking authentic Lebanese Shawarma. This is something different from the cheap, unappetizing "Kebabs" you find in most parts of Paris in that it's waaay better and costs the same if not even lesser.
The place was very busy when I went there, so naturally I had to wait a little. In my case, if the food's good, I can wait for any length of time. The moment I saw the juices dripping out of the well marinated meat spinning in the gyro, I realized that I was in for a delicious treat and indeed I was.
The flatbread they use came from packets, but it was the right kind. In fact, when I bit into my shawarma, the bread tasted just right, not too crispy or flaky, not too soft, not artificial tasting like the packets of cheap tortillas you find in supermarkets, just right.
The meat was incredibly tender, flavourful and juicy. Although the portion looked small to me at first, I soon realized that the thin bread was stuffed with a lot of chicken, the way it's supposed to be. More meat, less bread. They also added in the delicious sauce that seems to be the characteristic of every good Lebanese Shawarma I have eaten till now.
I'd say I'm more than satisfied with the Shawarma here and I'll definitely be...
