Greatest meal of my life; if I could give this place enough stars to break google, I would.

It all started with kibbeh. I had a spontaneous extreme craving for the richest, most flavorful kibbeh this corner of France. A friend of my friend’s ex-wife told me this place makes the kibbeh of the heavens. Well, that’s enough to sway me.

I told myself I would just be eating kibbeh, no more, no less. I failed myself, because believe you me, upon arrival just the smell of heavenly Lebanese cuisine convinced me to order virtually half the entire menu, and it was the greatest decision I’ve ever made.

Let’s start with the pita—it’s softer than 1000 thread-count Chinese silk. Stuffed grape leaves fresher than my entitled teenage nephew who thinks he’s an instagram influencer. Falafel that tastes like it was flown straight from the mountains of Ehden. Once you start eating he hummus, you can’t stop—in fact, I think I'd eaten so much my spinal fluid is at least 20% pure hummus. Their baba ganoush made me whole again, and their samboussek just melts in your mouth, like hot butter. Don’t even get me started on the tabouli; you’d think it’s hard to make a bad tabouli, but you’re wrong—so many places go overboard on the bulgur—not these guys, that tabouli was a prime example of perfection. Oh, the lamb—now look, never in my life have I liked lamb, it's always given me a weird aftertaste—I’ve always hated it. But Qasti's lamb? I took one bite of their lamb, and it sent me into a magical taste sensation that allowed my tastebuds to transcend dimensions. Whatever magic they’re cooking up in that kitchen, it’s a force even a Jedi wouldn’t be able to reckon with.

And finally, the kibbeh—my flavorite. Yes, FLAVORITE, I invented that word and intend to contact Oxford and Webster to make it an official word, as the definition of their kibbeh.

But honestly, that lamb impressed me so much, if I had a choice for the last meal of my life, it’s going to be their lamb. Sorry former-self, the kibbeh was truly incredible, but the lamb just turned my entire existence upside-down. Whoever is cooking that stuff up is certainly making our Byzantine-imperial ancestors proud. And the aesthetic vibe will knock your socks off, that mural was a work of art.

A little pricey? Sure, but you get what you pay for. At Qasti, you don’t just pay for food, you pay for a life-changing taste experience. I would give away my life savings just for another bite of that lamb.

Best Lebanese food I’ve ever had west of the 35th meridian. 10/10, that meal taught me what it’s like...

BRUNCH :

My visit to Qasti with two of my friends left us rather disappointed. While the food was quite good, our overall experience was marred by unsatisfactory service. To elaborate, we initially opted to sit outside, but unfortunately, rain unexpectedly began to fall. Although the restaurant's interior was largely unoccupied at the time, our request to move inside was denied on the grounds of existing reservations.

What struck us as peculiar was that, shortly thereafter, we noticed that a group of French patrons seated near us was promptly relocated indoors. This differential treatment led us to believe that our request might have been declined because we are not French.

As we left the restaurant, we couldn't help but notice that the interior still had plenty of available seating. This experience left us feeling that the restaurant's decision to refuse our relocation request was, in all fairness, quite discourteous. Consequently, I regret to say that I would not recommend this establishment based...

Qasti was recommended by a fellow choral singer. Surrounded by Lebanese family and friends for the better part of my life, I.just.had.to.go.com. They were flexible when I called to change my reservation. I was welcomed with warmth. Of course I had to have my fattoush and kebbe. Presentation was top notch! The fattoush salad came hidden like a treasure in a dome of crisp thin bread which was so much more delightful than the traditional deconstructed pieces. Cracking into it to explore the salad was actually worth the fanfare which added an element of gastronomic flair to it. It was the best kebbe I've had in a long while - crisp and smooth on the exterior with moist ground filling. The hummus, well, it had a creamy, smooth and light texture. Of course restaurant servings don't cater for one but I was able to have my take away packed as did the group checking out at the same time with me. It was well worth it. Do book a reservation as I observed there were lots of people waiting to be seated.

To be honest when we booked, we haven’t expected that the food and the place will be that good. Better to always book before you go, however if you were around don’t miss it. The food felt like home made food from Lebanon and Syria; that is very rare to happen specially if you were from on e of those countries and you really know how good the food is. The portions are just perfect to make you feel full. On the menue you have several formulas to choose from (one main plate- one appetizer- dessert or one main plate- three appetizers…etc). Consider that the main plate comes with fattoush. The must try are falafel فلافل, fattet eggplantقتة بتنجان , Friekh فريكة and رز باللحمة rice with meat. Keep in mind all his food is amazing. Facing the resturant he has another resturant that has real shawerma, grilled meat and some Lebanese products 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
