Our First Indian restaurant in Paris. Visited the place for lunch. Looking at the Menu didn't had any other option except to go with vegetarian Thali. You could add more options for Vegetarians. Factors for rating. 1. Quality - 3.5 Food quality was okay, I cannot give more than 3.5 because brinjal curry was too sour, halwa not sweet or tasty at all. 2. Cost vs Quantity - 4 For a thali, I think the quantity provided was fine. They could have included atleast one roti in the thali menu. I think one item was missing, hence they have one curry twice. 3. Ambiance- 5 No complaints here, staff was fully helpful and supportive. Infact he (he was localite) greeted us Vanakkam. 4. Accessibility - 4 Place is very near to Chatelet metro and 15 minutes walk from Louvre museum. We had outdoor seating and my kid was in the push chair. So, not sure if they had high chair for kids. 5. Cleanliness - 4 Staff kept cleaning the tables and maintained neatness across the restaurant. Grab a lunch or dinner when you are close to lourve museum.

Must eat here! My husband and I are from Houston, TX (which has amazing Indian food) & his family is Pakistani (so the bar is set pretty high for authentic cuisine). So yummmy!!!! Actually tastes like Indian (which we haven’t had in Paris as it’s usually way way too Frenchified). It is Frenchified just enough for thé typical Paris palette but, not so much so that it takes away from thé amazing spices that make Indian food so delicious ♥️♥️ Also, the people working there were very kind and friendly. Breath of fresh air! We will go back. Very easy to-go ordering and fantastic to-go boxes (as we are in COVID Times) We ordered: Tandoori Chicken & Biryani - YUMmm - chicken is so tender. Delightful Vindaloo Chicken - YUM - a perfect amount of spice that even the French will crave. (We might ask for a little more spicy next time if possible - that slow burn we haven’t had in over a year 🤤) Gulab Jaman - YUMm - perfect!

I recently visited Raasa Indian street food and found the experience to be quite underwhelming. The food was average and lacked the authentic taste(comparing it to other Indian restaurants in Europe or even Paris for that sake) I was hoping for. The gravy tasted like they were made using store-bought ready mixes rather than freshly prepared spices. The flavors did not come together well and felt off throughout the meal. The garlic naan was the biggest disappointment. It was not properly cooked and the garlic seemed to be simply placed on top without any real flavor. It did not resemble any naan I have had before. On a more positive note, the mocktail we ordered was refreshing and enjoyable. The vegetable rolls were also quite good, with a nice texture and flavor. Overall, I would not recommend this place for anyone seeking genuine Indian street food flavors. It may be worth trying only for a quick drink or snack.

We did not have the best experience here. Soup came late and cold and we were not sure if the soup was supposed to be cold so we asked the waiter who was quite nice btw, he apologized and took it back. We then realized the table next to us returned the coca cola bottles because they were expired. Few minutes later we got two coke bottles and they were also expired so we also sent them back. I left the restaurant for 5 min and during this time my wife complained that we were late and if they could rush the food since we had to go to CDG airport straight from the restaurant, and right at that point the owner started pretty much yelling at my wife that food takes time and this is an Indian restaurant and she could cancel and leave if she wanted. My wife responded that we were in a hurry and that we were already at the restaurant for 25 minutes and did not have time to go somewhere else. I returned to this restaurant after this conversation was over. We had chicken marsala which was not bad at all but the Nan bread was basically a pita bread. We finished our lunch and the waiter who was super nice all along, understood we were not happy and mentioned he did not charge for the Nan and lettuce salad however I still asked for the owner s name and he pretty much begged me not to talk to him as he seemed to be afraid to lose his job. I barely give 1 star to any establishment but when you insult your customers then it is more than well deserved IMO. Hope the owner reads this message and understands that service industry is not about yelling at people who come to your...

Unfortunately my experience was very bad. This was the closest Indian restaurant, however as an Indian myself I would say this was unfortunately the worse meals I’ve had in France. I’m not sure if it’s normal in France but I’ve noticed it a lot- food was cold for almost all orders on the table, when I first requested it to be reheated I got a disdained gruntle from the waiter/manager as if it was my fault. You cannot expect me to eat cold food. Then long story short the order kept getting mixed up, items were missing from the order and had to do this back and forth several times. They tried to convince us that they reheated the chicken biryani but instead they gave us veg biryani mixed in with chicken biryani and it wasn’t even hot Cheese naan has cheese inside it (did not like the naan flavour)

Positives: the waiter is fairly patient and calm headed. Lot of space to sit ( maybe for good reason as you’ll see in my review) Drinks taste ok too, I had a mojito and family ordered something else. Can understand french and English fairly well They did give us a free drink and took out one of the cold biryani meals (tbh there were 3 cold dishes bought out )

Negatives- cold food Disgruntled responses Order mixed up or missed - check the receipt Leading to time waste

Note they cannot manage large group of people from my experience so maybe ok for groups of 4 or less but still food...

Awful attempt at Indian cuisine and awful service. I have eaten Indian food all Over the world and without a shadow of a doubt the worst food ever. All the curries came out the same shade of dark brown which was odd as ordered the Shrimp Korma. The naan bread was disgusting and the service worse. The waiter was directly from Indian just arrived and when i challenged my dish I asked him if he honestly thought this to be a korma. He laughed and said no! Rest my case. I only had three tiny shrimps in the awful brown source and no taste of coconut! The prices are very high for the quantity and quality of food you receive. I will never visit again. I could forgive them as they are in Paris and I saw no coconut trees! It was like a child portion and the only thing that they got right was the rice. Imagine if they could not cook rice! Over price crap and you would not know any different if never taste Indian before. But honestly any jar of curry sauce far out stripes this crap. I did challenge the staff at the time but didn’t really care. Only thing that saved them was it was my last night in Paris with our friends for now and didn’t want to upset them. Shame on you Raasa fake take on Indian cuisine. Glad I am back in uk to have the really deal albeit not Indian! How you sleep sounds at night. You should be ashamed...
