We had such a special and amazing experience here tonight. Our lack of French was no issue for the staff, who went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and knew what we were ordering. The building itself is 400 years old, with an exposed cellar at the rear. Something to behold. We were welcomed into the fold of what feels like a typically locals only place, they treated us like family. The food is delicious, the wine list is the best I saw in Paris and the staff are friendly, funny and incredibly welcoming. We ate a beautiful & expensive restaurants, wandered gardens, sculpture and museums, saw Rodin, Matisse and Da vinci... and still, our evenings at Marcheurs is what I will miss most...
