Rosie's Smokehouse BBQ — Restaurant in Paris

Wanting some American BBQ, we decided to try this place out. The brisket was great and the sides were decent (we had mac n cheese, fries, and their pick 1/pick 2 comes with coleslaw). What I'm leaving this review for is the absolutely appalling service. We had a waitress (who I assume is American by her accent) who botched our order twice and then actually lied to us about not having a certain item. We ordered the pick 2 with brisket and ½ smoked chicken. Their menu has both the smoked chicken and fried chicken. When our order came, it had the brisket but, instead of the ½ smoked chicken, it came with fried chicken (which is just two drumsticks). When we asked her, she went back to check with the guys in the kitchen who were visible to us, came back and said, "yeah that's all we have is the fried chicken," then turns around and, as if I wouldn't notice, winks back at the kitchen guys and gives them a thumbs up as if to say "it's ok they fell for it." (We didn't, we just decided to be polite and not make more of a fuss.) We later confirmed with another waiter that they in fact did still have the ½ smoked chicken, so we know we were simply lied to. My partner and I visited Rosie’s Smokehouse for lunch yesterday and decided to start with a snack platter, thinking we might order something else if it wasn't enough for the two of us. To our surprise, the portion was more than sufficient (and I usually eat a lot!).

We absolutely loved the food. The meat was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, and the fries were spot on. I ended the meal with a vanilla milkshake, which was delicious—but after that, I was absolutely stuffed!

The service was fantastic. We were looked after by a friendly woman and a welcoming man who seemed to be the owner. It added to the experience that he was a native English speaker with an authentic accent, which contributed to the overall atmosphere.

Speaking of atmosphere, it was exactly what you'd expect from a sports bar/restaurant. The decoration creats a good vibe that really suits the place.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and were very happy with our choice. It’s definitely a spot I’d return to next time I’m in Paris.

Food was decent but not worth it, but the staff there is SOMETHING ELSE. I left my friend's phone to charge behind the counter and when I went there to get it back, a lady asked me what I wanted, I asked her politely for my friend's phone and she rudely said to me that it wasn't her problem and that I had to see with the person that took the phone( I don't know if I was in a Karen restaurant or a bbq restaurant and I am not even exagerating). Later on I went out to accompany some friends to smoke with a drink in my hand and one of the staff came and sais to us to get back inside because we can't bring drinks out. The terrace was crowded and there was no place to move and I tried getting near the entrance but it was just not possible. He comes in a second time and start rudely saying that we were abusing and that we could've easily gotten near. He even went on to scream to my friend in front of everybody. Very UNPROFESSIONAL and EXTREMELY RUDE. I understand that it was a crowded night but screaming at the guests when we were being very polite and respectful is just uncalled for.
