Popped in today during lunch and ended up buying a huge variety of goodies. Have to come back. The cheese borek is absolutely delicious and has so much flavour so it's super yummy. Unfortunately the spinach one - not so much so that's my least favourite. The potatoe latkes are also delicious and not sure if worth the price (easy to make at home). Also purchased the poppy seed bagels, pletzels (super yummy), challah, strudel and poppy seed cake. I never realized they do sandwiches and the various pates or whatever you call them in the deli looked delicious. There is just way too much on offer that one has to be careful as I just chose on the spot (believe you me it was SO difficult to not choose more goodies because everything looks so amazing). Some of the best pastrami sandwiches in Paris are served at this busy café/bakery/delicatessen, located in the old Jewish quarter of le Marais. Also known as «La boutique jaune,» on account of its eye-catching yellow shop front, this corner spot has been serving up traditional Jewish food from central Europe and Russia since the 1940s. Yohannes/Johannes, the very professional, lovely, knowledgeable and friendly red-haired Polish woman who works there is always a pleasure and one of the main reasons I kept coming back. The blonde-haired short White guy however needs some home training and needs to be taught some professionalism - during my last visit there he kept staring at me as if he wanted to fight me while he was taking my order - he asked me to repeatedly speak English only but yet he kept getting the order wrong and whenever he got something wrong he would stare at me as if he wanted to fight me.
