Nestled near the grandeur of the Arc de Triomphe, Samrat Restaurant offers an exquisite blend of authentic Indian cuisine and warm hospitality. My dining experience here was nothing short of delightful, beginning with the Chicken Steam Momos. These delicate dumplings, with their silky outer shell and succulent, flavorful chicken filling, were a gentle yet tantalizing prelude to the feast that followed. The Chicken Chilli Dry dazzled with its fiery notes and smoky undertones, perfectly balancing spice and savor.
The Butter Naan was a masterpiece of fluff and richness, its golden surface glistening with butter that paired harmoniously with the robust and piquant Chicken Vindaloo. This curry, a riot of tangy and spicy flavors, showcased the finesse of Indian spices, blending heat with depth to perfection. Accompanied by fragrant basmati rice, each grain separate and aromatic, it was a match made in culinary heaven.
Adding to the charm, the staff welcomed my toddler with open arms, graciously allowing outside food—a rare and thoughtful gesture. Service was prompt yet unhurried, with an air of genuine care. The atmosphere, suffused with warmth and professionalism, turned our meal into a cherished memory. For lovers of Indian cuisine, Samrat is a culinary gem amid...

Read moreThis is of-course my first experience with this restaurant. As name says Nepali - Indian cuisine so it’s not INDIAN cuisine.
Food was not at all good. We had ordered chicken biryani , chicken curry , nan and paneer mutter.
Biryani was so not related to actual biryani at all. I know we cannot compare it to authentic biryani. However for that money at least they should have done some thing. It was just saffron rice with chicken pieces. That’s not biryani.
Chicken curry was oh my God. It was awful. If they don’t know the recipe then they should not keep that in there menu. It’s literally not an Indian cuisine.
I wouldn’t waste my money here not suggest anyone this place. Pls walk/ drive few more miles and we have really other good Indian...
