My boyfriend and I recently visited Paris for the first time and stayed at Hotel De Sévigné. We found the boutique hotel to be such a nice experience and the staff were so kind! They went above and beyond to meet our needs. On our first day we were very jet lagged and they let us check in 6 hours early for no extra charge. We also loved our room! The balcony and view were such a nice touch. The things we were a little disappointed about but it didn’t affect our trip was the fact that the housekeeper did not leave us enough toilet paper so we kept having to ask the front desk for more. The bathrooms also don’t have fans, so the room gets steamed up really easily which caused the fire alarm to go off and the guests all ran downstairs to the lobby concerned. Other than that, our stay was amazing and the location of this hotel was the best!!! Such a safe, quiet area yet near so many attractions and close to metro stations. We were surprised by how close the arc de triomphe was (less than a 5 min walk) and Eiffel Tower (10 min walk). There are also some beautiful cafe’s close by that we loved! Our favourite was Merci Jerome. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Paris!

What a wonderful find! Highly recommended place to stay in Paris because not only are they conveniently located near best French restaurants, shopping at Champs Elyseé and have some of the best views of Paris, but the manager and staff are well accommodating and amazing. Their room was also very clean, and stylish. We stayed in one of the rooms with the balcony and that was so fun. Tip: book with the hotel directly! Long story short we had a terrible booking mishap with Expedia and only when we asked the hotel staff to help did we find the best responses and resolution. They are well accommodating and reasonable to speak with. Merci beaucoup Hotel de Sevigne for a wonderful time!! Well definitely recommend to all our friends and family, and hopefully be back 😊

I enjoyed the hotel very much. The location was excellent, between the Arc De Triumph and the Eiffel Tower. It was also near the hop-on/off bus routes. The room was also great (550). It has it's on private balcony and I could see the top of the Eiffel Tower. The only issue with the room was there were no hooks near the sink for wash towels. I also wanted to do laundry and there was no order sheet in the room. I went downstairs and checked with the front desk. He was kind but told me he couldn't find the order from and suggested I do my laundry at the public laundry located down the street. I was willing to pay for the service as I did not want to take up my time doing laundry. I ended up not doing laundry.

You're paying for the location in the 16th arrondisment, which is safe and a brief walk from the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, shops, pharmacies and dozens of restaurants. Otherwise, I'm unsure how this hotel gets four stars. |Paid $1,300 for a three-night stay in room 550. Queen bed was comfortable. |Bathtub plug leaked. When you get in it's full, five minutes later you're sitting in a puddle.|Towel warmer was broken. Washcloths are not provided, per the front desk.|Charming bistro table on balcony looked great for photos... but with onlyone chair, we took turns drinking coffee outside in the mornings. An electric kettle was much appreciated; bottled water and instant coffee were replenished daily.|Despite my terrible French, front desk employees were helpful, although with only one per shift, don't expect quick service. They were very kind about providing a bucket of ice each night.|There are small steps in the entrance and off the lobby that are not marked. You will trip unless you pay attention.|The minifridge (our welcome note said everything in it was free) kept contents barely below room temp. Wouldn't store milk or medicine in it. |The elevator is terrifying--big enough for two slim passengers and a suitcase, and that's it.|The room was cramped-- I realize European hotels are seldom as roomy as American hotels... but it was pretty tight with two adults, two suitcases and two carry-ons. |The chambermaid was so sweet, ringing the doorbell each morning and asking when she could clean the room. We tipped her well.|Pros: Safe area, great location with lots of historic architecture, free water, free minibar.|Cons: Room is quite tight, basic...

During my recent stay at Hotel de Sévigné, I was impressed by the level of hospitality provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. What truly stood out to me was the staff's dedication to ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable and stress-free.

One aspect that particularly impressed me was the staff's willingness to go above and beyond to assist with restaurant reservations and recommendations. They were always on hand to provide valuable suggestions and even helped make reservations on my behalf.

I must also commend the delightful Patricia, who oversees the breakfast service at the hotel. Despite my occasional tardiness, she always greeted me with a warm smile and ensured that I never missed out on the delicious breakfast spread. On one occasion, she even went out of her way to prepare some extra eggs and bacon for me when I arrived a bit later than usual. Such gestures of kindness and hospitality truly made me feel like a valued guest.

Overall, my experience at Hotel de Sévigné was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the attentive and accommodating staff. Their genuine care and dedication to guest satisfaction set this hotel apart, making it a very good option to stay in the...

I'll start with our arrival. We arrived very very early around 9 am as we had an early flight arrival. The staff were very accommodating. They could not obviously give us our room yet but took our luggage and stored it in a room behind the check in desk and offered to email me as soon as the room was ready. Which they did around 1:30 pm. The hotel is a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe. We were also able to walk to the Eiffel Tower within 25 minutes. The walk to the Louvre was much longer at 45 minutes but we are walkers so it was fine. Uber was extremely reasonable just FYI. We used it to go back to the hotel a few times. The room was small but perfectly fine for our needs. I love that there is an elevator. Some smaller hotels in older buildings do not have this. The room and bathroom were very clean. We opted to not have them clean the room during our short stay so I can't comment on that. We didn't have breakfast either so no comment on that. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel emailed me a list of their recommendations prior to arrival. We did go to one of them which was less than a minute walk from the hotel. Very good food. We felt completely safe in this neighborhood and it...
