Wow, I'd been looking forward to trying this place for nearly three years, since we moved in accross the street. Finally stopped by this weekend and had the worst brunch experience ever. I much prefer writing positive reviews, but this one was so bad I can't not say anything, even for neighbors. The staff barely looked up when we came in, and no one smiled, even our server when taking our order. As if we weren't welcome, or else she was just having a bad day and taking it out on her clients. Then came the food: my husband and I both ordered the pancake breakfast. The menu said it came with an easy side up egg, beef bacon (it's apparently a Hallal place so don't go here expecting to have any real bacon or ham with your meal...surprise!), and maple syrup. First, much to my surprise, they put the very rubbery, plasticky, overcooked and tasteless egg ON TOP of one of the pancakes (strange). There was no maple syrup, and when I asked for syrup and butter, they took their good old time bringing it (there was barely anyone left in the restaurant so no reason to not just grab it from the kitchen right behind us). The pancakes themselves were just awful!! Dry, tasteless, I don't know what you can do to make a pancake that bad! The butter was weirdly liquidy, like margarine and the maple syrup overly sweet. I took one bite and left the rest. To top it off, my glass of orange juice: âŹ6 ! The photos on Google all look great, but even if the food was good, the service was so cold and unprofessional I would definigely...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying the Voca Toast at Sayly Brunch & Coffee, and it was nothing short of amazing! The salmon was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with a perfect balance of textures and tastes that left a lasting impression. I donât usually have fish for breakfast, but this dish was an exception Iâm so glad I made!
The portion size was generous, making it great value for the price. The presentation was also beautiful, with vibrant ingredients that made the dish look as good as it tasted. The café itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing brunch or a morning pick-me-up.
Marie, our server, went above and beyond with her attentive and friendly service, adding a personal touch that made our visit even more enjoyable. As a tourist, Iâve tried many places, but this is one spot you absolutely canât miss. Whether youâre looking for a unique breakfast experience or just a cozy place to enjoy your morning, Sayly Brunch & Coffee has it all. Trust meâyou wonât be...
Read moreThe food was amazing. The employees were very nice. The view is your average Parisian street, which has its own charm. My one regret is only coming here on my last day, otherwise I wouldâve come back to try more items on their menu. It was so good that I ended up ordering a slice of brookie for dessert that was also incredible. I order the egg club. it came with a little salad and hummus on the side which were really good, the slice of the brioche bread was so light and soft, the chicken was so tender, the eggs so creamy and the guacamole was perfect. All the flavors just complemented each other so nicely. The brownie was fudgy and the cookie was still âmeltingâ on the inside...
