We came here because of the good reviews, but left incredibly disappointed. First, we felt lucky there was a table, because we didn't have a reservation. The starter (cucumber and kiwi salad) was ok, but didn't have a lot of flavor. The main course was even worse, orzo with seafood which was incredibly bland and they couldn't bother to remove the waste vein from the shrimp. Being Coming from the Netherlands, dessert was probably the most disappointing: poffertjes (tiny Dutch pancakes, which the waiter called "Belgian waffles") with cherries. These things can be bought in bulk for €1. They were cold which meant the butter didn't melt. They also didn't even bother with flavour for this dish. The wine was good, but basic and they didn't have the "cheaper" €11 euros wine and the waiter brought me an even more expensive glass.

When the bill came, we saw they charged us €5 for tap water, which isn't even allowed, and they had the audacity to have a tipping option on the terminal.

Overal a scam and not worth it. Not sure whether the good reviews...

Very good kitchen made with top quality seasonal products in a small, minimalistic restaurant. The service is so kind and helpful they'll make you feel at home. The only "but" is that they only work a FIX/CLOSED menu –a single starter, a single main course and a single dessert– so the diner can't get any choice (except for the drinks, of course), and only that little of their culinary skills can be tried. This formula may satisfy frequent customers, but for occassional visitors as we are, it's a bit disappointing. I would suggest a longer "tasting menu" with two starters, two mains (half portions of each) and a dessert. I have no doubt that this way, the experience would be really fulfilling. Because of this particularity, I would actually rate the restaurant with 4 and a half stars; anyway, I give it five as its lovely food and service definitely...

We accidentally found this restaurant by St Lazar Gare on Google Maps, checked online for available tables, and stopped by for dinner after our trip to Giverny. We were warmly welcomed right at the opening of the restaurant at 19:00 and chose a table. The atmosphere was very intimate and stylish, with a very polite and friendly staff. The staff included elegant young ladies, with whom it was a pleasure to talk. We ordered non-alcoholic cocktails, while the food cannot be chosen: there is a new menu every day, which can be viewed in advance on the website. The presentation was beautiful, the flavor combinations interesting, very elegant, filling, and tasty. Definitely worth the price. The restaurant was calm and quiet with ambient light, with only a few couples seated. Thank you for a lovely romantic evening!

Excellent cuisine, service and philosophy. Fresh, seasonal and prepared with thought and appreciation for ingredients. Every day has a fixed menu based on the available produce. The service is proud of the model, the quality and providing a great dining experience. I would love to see and experience more flavors. The produce is fresh and good, but there is a lack of bravery when it comes to the use herbs and spices to bring out more interesting flavors. The steak I had recently was quite bland as a result of this philosophy. Small and cosy. Very popular and for good reason. Definitely coming again and expect more as the restaurant matures.
