Shana — Restaurant in Paris

Shana is amazing and special and is everything you could want for a dining out experience.

First the environment is intimate and intentional. There is a wall of the workers grandmas and the restaurant is a homage to women who feed us and home cooks. There are many other moments inside the restaurant that are homey and unique.

The food is so great, we seriously did not get anything we were not blown away by. But a few stand outs: the salad with raspberries was so incredible and had a great balance to it. I loved the fish dish served atop little squares of fried rice- so crunchy and flavorful and unexpected. The baby artichokes were great too and the mousse was to die for. Get to mousse! And the tiramisu! A great selection of wines and the servers all work together to create a one of a kind experience.

I absolutely adored every aspect of this place! From the stunning decor to the inviting vibe, everything felt just right. But let’s talk about the food—it was the true star of the show!

We enjoyed the food, and the romantic atmosphere. The three drawbacks were: 1. the stuffy and hot inside, if the ceiling fans were moving the air, if would have very much improved the climate to comfortable; 2. the seating for two along the wall left no leg room thus feeling cramped and uncomfortable; 3. and last and most importantly not least, having been the first to arrive we received fast/rushed service receiving each of the tapas plate before we completed the prior tapas plate, not the relaxed dining we have come to expect in Paris, but it was a relief to get outside from some fresh,...
