We recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Taitu Cuisine Éthiopienne and let me tell you the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Restaurant is located right next UNION BOULANGERIE, a wonderful bakery which will have a review of its own. We were warmly greeted when we entered the restaurant and immediately seated. We were famished so we ordered 3 meals and figured we could take the left over in a to-go box (spoiler alert - there was nothing to take as we devoured it all, lol). We picked the “Gored Gored” (cubed red beef tossed in spiced Ethiopian butter and berbere), beef stew and veggie combo. After about 10 minutes our food was ready and our eyes lit up with the sight of it. We quickly took some pictures (to be honest these pictures don’t do it justice). Food was so good we were just quietly enjoying it and just nodded our approval with our eyes closed when they asked us how the food is. We really enjoyed our meal and that was reflected by our empty plates (pun intended, lol). We then had some Ethiopian tea, it was a delightful sensory experience with its bold flavor and captivating aroma. If you love Ethiopian food or never had it before and want to try it for the first time then Taitu Cuisine Éthiopienne is the place for you. The warmth and friendliness of the staff added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience, making the delicious food taste even better. I highly recommend it and your taste buds...

We got our food in about 10-15 minutes, which was delicious! The food here reminds me of home as it's authentic cooking. We had Ethiopian tea with homemade baklava. An excellent way to conclude our meal experience 👌🏽In my opinion, Cuisine Éthiopienne is the best Ethiopian restaurant in Paris, offering a unique culinary experience.

Read moreI went to this restaurant when I was visiting my daughter in Paris. The waiter and the other staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We all had the Yetsom Beyaynetu (vegan sampling platter). It was outstanding. They offered us more of any of the vegetable dishes, gratuit. They also offered to let us try some Tej, a traditional fermented drink (which was very good). I have had Ethiopian and Eritrean food in many cities and this was as good as any I have had anywhere. While they have plenty of meat dishes, they also have an entire vegan menu which was important...
