Thank you very much! Merci beaucoup!
One of the best vegetarian meals I've ever had if not just plain "One of the best meals I've had". I've been a pescaterian for about 2 years now and this was honestly top notch food and possibly even better than anything I've eaten before my pescaterian days.
I went with my girlfriend who does eat meat and she also really loved the food just as much as I did, so don't be afraid to try it out if you're not a vegetarian. The place was jam packed around 9:30pm on a Wedneday but we were lucky to find a table for two.
Prices are actually really low for such high quality food. We paid 36 euros for 3x rice cup, 2 big dishes that we shared, 6 wraps (2 big, 4 small) and wine (50cl). Service was excellent and English was understood well enough and we also managed to order wine that was off the menu for some reason. Me (I'm almost 2 meters tall and also quite strong) and my girlfriend were filled up to the top by the food so the portions were quite hefty to say the least.
It was really nice to just browse the menu knowing that everything on it was a possible choise and not having to cherry pick out the ones "I could...
Read moreWe visited this small vegan restaurant near Bastille on a Friday evening. The place was almost full (about 30 seats), but we were lucky to get a table. The interior is very bright and has a playful, almost daycare-like vibe, with colorful pictures on the walls and simple furniture.
The service was extremely fast but somewhat impersonal. The menu offers Chinese-inspired dishes with plant-based meat substitutes. Prices are low, but unfortunately, the food quality totally reflects that.
We had the house salad (a bit limp) and a soup (quite watery). The “Peking duck” came with a jelly-like sauce, which didn’t improve the experience. My tofu dish was actually just tofu heated in sauce with hints of mushrooms and quite bland, even soy sauce and salt couldn’t save the dish. The white wine was okay, and Tsingtao beer is always a safe choice.
Overall, it’s a cheap option, but not a great one. If you’re looking for quality vegan food, there are better...
Read moreVegetarian and vegan friendly. Just state if you're vegan for some dishes (i guess they may use butter for some thing. Just tell them) The food is extremely tasty. While none of the "faux meat" are actually the same taste as the original, is really isn't a big deal since they have flavour of their own that is great. The faux lackered duck was just awesome, the faux fish in the casserole was incredibly fish-like, and one of their soy-based things (looked like carrot sticks?) just made me crave for more, crazy good. Prices are acceptable but if like me you want quantity and quality, think about taking noodles or rice on the side as well. A main and some added noodles should be about 13e which is quite acceptable for the quantities and quality of the dishes.
Little -, the dishes can arrive is a very chaotic and delayed order but it's no big...
