Wunderbär — Restaurant in Paris

I'm only writing this review as I was extremely disappointed. We were in Paris after being in Germany the day before and wanted a few more German beers. This place looked perfect for it, now there's only 4 people in the place, using 2 tables and we were refused service as we weren't ordering food. For Scottish people, we usually get a few beers then food. Now I can understand if we were going to be taking up a table if people were there to eat but there was 4 just 4 People inside, as a business I find it strange to refuse service when the place is near empty. Weißwurst: very good.

Pommes frites: OK.

Kartoffelsalat: Good.

Currywurst: Too little curry ketchup (and not put over the pommes frites) and the sausage is not sliced (as it is usual in Germany).

Apfelstrudel: Not warm and soft. It was cold and became hard.

Ambiente: I wish there would have been German music and more German decoration. The ambiente is not "German-Like".

Great little place serving good beer and good sausages. Not the most authentic German food I've had, but we are in Paris! If you're looking for a gourmet restaurant, you'll be disappointed.
