Walked past this restaurant a few times and saw it was always full at lunch time and decided I must try it. Went for dinner last night. What can I say? To start with, the welcome was warm and smiling, I had booked for one but a friend joined me and we were given a charming corner table next to the window. We ordered some housemred while we wited. It turned out to be a very pleasant Syrah and so enjoyable we kept drinking that. The menu was interesting - the waiter cme to us with a chalkboard and explained ll the dishes, including cooking techniques. Very difficult to choose as all seemed equally delicious- a lady sitting at a table near us warmly recommended the paleron de boeuf so my friend ordered that while I went for the croustillant de pied de porc. Both were delicious. We started out with a dodine de canard and a potjevleish with salad just to get the juices flowing. Excellent bread. We were so satisfied we couldn’t manage a dessert. Will definitely go back. If I can make it, I might even go today for lunch. Loved it. Thanks to the brilliant chef. Just sorry I hadn’t...

I had to carry my main dish into the dining room myself, and I was invited to sit at a table, which was almost certainly available when the first sound of thunder struck and before it started raining. The staff seemed to lack experience despite any good intentions. The FOOD: the "Greek salad" was creative but the cucumber sorbet was icy instead of smooth; the feta overpowered the dish. The gambas were good but not special enough to...

That said, we were brought the menu fairly quickly, and were seated near the station where the waiters assembled some things so it was easy for them to check up on us. Everyone who helped us was friendly and patient.
Our family of four tried a variety of new foods (and wines) and every one of them was very good. We found the price quite reasonable for the experience (but we live in a high cost area and of course everything...
