Restaurant Persia — Restaurant in Strasbourg

I am really disappointed with my experience in this restaurant and the food quality is not the only factor. Actually, the only decent part was the fact that the main course was satisfactory.

I gave them one star due to the reasons below:

1- The most waiting time that I have ever had in my life which was more than 1 hour when the restaurant was half empty.

2- The appetizer and the drink which were mast bourani/mirzaghasemi and doogh were super tasteless. Doogh was the worst in my life.

3- The rest room did not have toilet paper.

4- The staff attitude was horrible when I complained about the quality of their appetizer and the waiting time. I also need to mention that they asked about my opinion and I was just honest with them. Finally, they said it is what it is and probably I should never go to their restaurant...

We went in here by coincidence, no reservations for dinner on a friday night at Strasbourg means it's hard to find food. Luckily they had a place for us and I'm so happy we were able to eat here tonight. If you're a Turkish expat, trying to find really good food that reminds you of your home, this is the place to be! Their small cold entrys were really delicious, best dolma I've had in all Strasbourg, and the kebabs were just amazing, cook and taste both perfect. They also had pretty delicious tea and baklava (although it's very different than turkish style, rose jam and cardamom were a great addition). Not to mention, the service was very warm. As Persian, who have tried so many Persian restaurants, this one was the worst. Before we decided to go there, we actually met another Persian student who encouraged us not to go?! But I said what could go wrong with having Kobideh. God, was the worst kibideh, not even know if they know how kobideh is made?! There was hardly sign of any meat and tasted like is made from flour or bread crumb. I asked for dough, again they served it in small glass and was tasteless. We waited more than 45 minutes for this tastes food. Toilet was like a toilet you find on the road in the gas station. And Owner did not seem to be apologic to...
