Lunch with 2 friends. Ordered 4 dishes to share, i.e. stir-fried beef with onions (leeks we think); pan fried salmon; shrimp paste stuffed tofu; the day's special of braised pork ribs; 2 bowls of rice on the side; and 2 cups HK coffee-tea and a HK milk tea. Ribs were served a little on the cool side but were yummy. Will have to come on a Saturday to try the house-made wontons. Good value and will be back.
Update: 2019/Feb: Went back a couple of weeks ago solo for lunch and discovered that you can now only order off the "lunch" menu with its limited selection and they've also done away with daily Chef's Specials (might be a different story for dinner service). The server was a bit abrupt and slow to bring the menu and take my order even though there was only one other seated customer when I entered, and a third after I was given my menu. Check your bill for mistakes before paying as I was originally charged more for my wonton noodle soup even tho the lunch menu lists a lower price. Soup was good if not very complex, noodles were springy, wontons with generous amounts of shrimp were acceptable tho a bit over salty, wonton wrappers overly thick -- definitely not Cantonese style if that's what you're looking for. Overall, a disappointing re-visit and would think hard about going back. Downgraded...
Read moreVery authentic HongKong restaurant. Food are awesome and delicious. Rare to find good HK restaurant in Europe as I am a HongKonger.
Arrive at 20:45 Friday night and it is pretty full with 1 table left, so reservations is recommended.
Warmth staff, service is efficient with a cheerful young lady.
Wanton 🍜 soup/ raviolis aux crevette is a must, just like the one I usually have in HK. Other dishes are great too, pity that I just pass by and cannot try all.
Parking is almost impossible with few narrow street parking space which is completely full. So driving in the old town is not so recommended. We manage to find some space with 10min walk around Église réformée Saint-Paul, which is outside the old town center.
Definitely will come back if I visit Strasbourg again....
Read moreTsim Sha Tsui is a famous district in Hongkong. Finding a restaurant with this name we naturally thought the food must be very authentic. But honestly the food was OK. They have vietnamese dishes which has literally nothing to do with the cuisine of Hongkong let alone Tsim Sha Tsui. So clearly not very authentic. The other chinese dishes were adjusted for western taste. So if you expect Hongkong food here you will get disappointed. If you expect westernized chinese food you will be satisfied. It is also not really a proper restaurant. More like a fast food restaurant. Considering that it is extremely overpriced. We paid 80€ for 4 people, each had 1 dish and 1 drink, no appetizers, no desserts. The staff was...
