I had a fantastic time here until I got assaulted by 3 female bouncers for wanting to use the toilet. (Having queued for 20 minutes the toilet was shut in front of me as they changed it for 'VIP use only').

I verbally expressed my opinion of this as a paying customer which prompted the bouncers to throw me onto the floor where I hit my head on a step; they then continued to punch me in the ribs, legs and face after I had been knocked unconscious. Perhaps they were bored that day?

This trip to the Folie ruined my holiday and resulted in severe concussion. I think its fair to say I wont be going back.

If anyone witnessed this please give me a shout because I would hate for it to happen to someone else... I am not an...

(Review for the fast food outlet, not the restaurant itself) I'd love to give it 5 stars, because the staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. But when you order fish n chips and a burger, you're charged almost fifty euros, and they're served to you in two minutes, and your food is clearly reheated, and the fries were definitely cooked four hours ago and kept warm, and your burger is cold, and the fish is far from fresh, I kinda feel ripped off. I know it's to be expected in a ski resort, but having been to Folie Douce in Morzine, it seems like they're using their reputation to charge extortionate prices for food that's reheated by seasonnaires. On a cold December day, I'd at least...

Please be warned, this place is a den of thieves. We went in as a group and had all our helmets, goggles and gloves stolen including some credit cards. When we complained to management we were told it happens all the time. People regularly have their stuff stolen including skis, boots, purses, bags, jackets, and pockets get picked. Why is nothing being done about this? Why are there no signs warning about the high rate of theft. This has completely ruined our ski holiday and the management at La Folie Douce don’t care and wouldn’t...

Spent 4 hours and €200 having a blast to be told I then can’t use the toilets. Ethos is “drink, drink, drink” and “wear my brand” but then “no, get out” as soon as the music stops when you’re halfway up the mountain. No thanks to the girl who sold me a €25 aprés headband in the shop and the 2 guys behind the bar supplying multiple aperols/beers who then as a group physically (!) removed me at 6pm when I needed the bathroom. Had a great time in La Folie Douce bars/ hotels around France in the last 10 years - this one lets the brand name down.

Music and atmosphere is good, but it feels a bit manufactured. La Folie Douce is basically the only place trying to have a party, between a set time. It's like the French are trying to monetise what appears to come naturally to the Austrians and Italian's, let's just have a party, jump on some tables and throw some shapes. It's all there in La Folie Douce, its just no one else in France seems to be doing it, it's a manufactured environment with a set time.

Our second year doing the VIP lunch. It won't be our last! The food was 👌🏻 and service was spot on, it's worth doing the VIP just for the drinks service meaning no one needs to queue at the bar. As well as a guaranteed area. It's a decent minimum spend and neither time have we gone over it by much but never held back in our ordering. Don't recommend skiing down after. Maybe next year I'll finally take my own advice on that one...
