Wonderful! We arrived at peak time on a Saturday evening, without a reservation and speaking no French beyond "parlez vous Anglais?" and they were fantastic. Happily spoke English, managed to find us a table, and even had an English menu. The selection of dishes isn't huge, but what they do is done excellently and with very cheerful service. The Sirloin steak was very tasty, and they were very good natured about our desire to have it well done. It came well cooked, with just a bit of pink on the inside, still tender and juicy - lovely. The food, wine, services and pricing all great. Do ask the recommendation that is not a la carte. The duck breast skin is very crispy and the meat so tender, certified by local French ;) It’s not a tourists type of restaurant, there are also locals dining in this restaurant.

This was a great all around experience. Easy to book over the phone, easy to find on maps and then in person and easy to get a table. The waiters are nice, knowledgeable and were dealing with English, French and Spanish diners easily and as far as I could tell fluently. The food was fantastic, especially the duck and dauphinois potatoes and was very reasonably priced. Between €60-70 for two with drinks, dessert and coffee....
