I had a wonderful experience at Blue Mountains Restaurant in Mestia. The location is absolutely stunning — set right alongside a beautiful river with breathtaking mountain views that make the whole atmosphere magical. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature while dining. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Service was quick and attentive without being intrusive. The food was simply amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish I tried was delicious, and it perfectly complemented the serene surroundings. Overall, Blue Mountains Restaurant is a must-visit in Mestia. Whether you come for the gorgeous views, the warm hospitality, or the excellent food, you’ll leave with great memories. Highly recommended!

I used to come to this place every time I visited Mestia - always loved it. But during my last visit, I was disappointed. ⠀ I ordered dolma (meat with rice in grape leaves), but instead they brought me stuffed peppers. This was our conversation: — Me: I ordered dolma — Waitress: this is it — Me: no, dolma is in grape leaves, these are peppers — Waitress: oh, we don’t have it now, do you want to cancel? ⠀ So they replaced the dish without informing me — not okay. ⠀ Next time I came for fish. Just look at the photo — the size speaks for itself. ⠀ It’s a pity, it used to be a great place.

Mixed feelings about this place. Went twice and the first time was a delight with great dessert and smiling service. I went again for late dinner and the food was average/poor with a Tatarberaki made with sausages from the supermarket (the ones used in hot-dogs) and bland eggplant rolls. While the service was delightful the first time; it was awful the second, with the waitress (another lady) just threw the plates on the table. By March 2025 it was only possible to pay by cash. Bonus for the amazing view from the terrace.
