I had a wonderful experience at Blue Mountains Restaurant in Mestia. The location is absolutely stunning — set right alongside a beautiful river with breathtaking mountain views that make the whole atmosphere magical. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature while dining. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Service was quick and attentive without being intrusive. The food was simply amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I used to come to this place every time I visited Mestia - always loved it. But during my last visit, I was disappointed. ⠀ I ordered dolma (meat with rice in grape leaves), but instead they brought me stuffed peppers. Mixed feelings about this place. Went twice and the first time was a delight with great dessert and smiling service. I went again for late dinner and the food was average/poor with a Tatarberaki made with sausages from the supermarket (the ones used in hot-dogs) and bland eggplant rolls.
