Surprisingly there is only 1 review on this guesthouse, while it gets many reviews with booking.com||||Location - need a ~10 mins walkup from the main road (at the end side of the village)||View - the view is much much better than those places along the main road in Mestia||Room - there are 2 newer rooms which is relatively tiny but have private bath / toilet, and there are another 2 rooms which is bigger and shares one toilet / bathroom||||The best thing about this guesthouse is the location and therefore the view- can see the valley from a high point and can see snow mountains quite clearly. Also it is the start point of the day hike to the hilltop cross or the lake. It's off the main road and need to walk up the steep road to arrive, making NOT suitable for people having heavy luggage (unless arranging car pickup or having backpacks)||||If needed, the owner can offer you to use their family kitchen for super simple breakfast...
Read moreBe informed that there is an incredibly steep, skinny and treacherously uneven cobblestone road that must be accessed to reach this guesthouse. Our Toyota hybrid sedan barely made it. 4x4s and trucks will have no problem. Thank goodness they let us park on level ground inside their gate!
