I love Georgia — Restaurant in Tbilisi

This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had! The moment we arrived, the entrance was swarming with flies — and it only got worse inside. We still went in because we saw some decent reviews on Xiaohongshu. What a mistake. The male staff member (the owner wasn’t present) was openly rude and made mocking remarks about “China” in a very unpleasant tone. Not just uncomfortable — downright disrespectful. Later I found other Chinese travelers on Xiaohongshu had similar bad experiences, even involving overcharging and calling the police. We ordered 4 dishes — not a single one was edible. I say this without exaggeration or emotion: the food was genuinely bad. I truly don’t understand where all the 5-star reviews came from. The real problem came with the bill. I calculated everything from the menu, and it was clearly 59 GEL. But the man first said 69, then 67, then finally said there's a 10% service charge. I said fine — that would be 64.9. (Funny enough, there was no service at all.) At this point, he got extremely aggressive. His tone, facial expression, and gestures were rude and hostile — basically telling us to pay and get out. He even pulled my husband aside and gestured something extremely inappropriate, possibly referring to me. Maybe if the owner had been there, it would have been a different experience. But this staff member was unacceptable. I strongly advise everyone — especially Chinese tourists — to avoid this place. This is not just a one-off. There are patterns of overcharging and disrespect. Please be careful. There are many better options...

For the people who underrated this place because of the delay and waiting time… the food is freshly made for you… also, here are some important facts… this is very traditional place which offer a great food and experience… if you find it with a low customer service, please go to the places where they care about service than “quality of food and great value and the whole traditional beautiful experience” that’s called experience of going to a traditional place and getting the best authentic places in the city. The great value is about the old lady is cooking and the old man is taking care of the guests… you will feel like you are home here… the place is super simple, yet is filled with love and happiness. I wish that I could speak more with those people, but their English is on basic level, which made me -as a experienced traveler- more happy. This is one of the few places in this city which offer a great experience and I mean it. For the people who understand what I’m talking about, kindly add helpful or like button so it will appear for the whom who really want to have a good food and great experience with a great value. Must respect and love… I would come here again that’s 100% sure! What’s better than authentic food and home made...

Dont dont choose this place for your meal. It will be a horrible experience and waste your money！We arrived there around 7pm but no other customers in there. We ordered 2dishes and 1 wine. One dish is eggplant with walnuts which from the restaurant picture is rolls ，but when u get it，it's 5or6 small pieces plat eggplant just few walnuts sauce topping. Totally different with other restaurants which I have tried. The second dish we ordered on the menu is described meat with tomato. But when we got it，no any tomato taste. I doubted deeply they sent a wrong dish. The last important thing is，they tried to charge more money on the bill. Our bill total ：9GEL（eggplant）+14GEL（meat with tomato）+2GEL（some pieces cold bread，in most other restaurants is free）+5GEL（wine）=30GEL，plus 10%service charge. So should charge us 33GEL. But the old lady told us our bill is 43GEL！ How they can count this price？ When I tried to explain to the old lady that the bill is wrong ，she showed very impatient attitude to us.
