2 stars are only for the location and the breakfast. We arrived at the hotel and they gave us a room at the old side which you have to go down the stairs to get to the lift then at your level, another round of stairs to get to the room. We traveled with our baby, so had a stroller and there wasn’t any ramp meaning we had to continually carry baby and stroller up and down stairs. Asked to change our room they said there is no room available at all. Our room didn’t have any windows to outside as well and was extremely small. We asked for another room and pay for the difference, and they showed us a room for additional $ 145 per night (I don’t think it’s logical to show something that different in price). We asked the hotel if they have the wine tasting tour so they arranged a guy (which wasn’t a tour guide, he came with his niece. She was a high school student and knew little bit English and no experience). They took us several places and at the end took us to Winery Khareba, where we had to pay for our wine tasting despite being told by the hotel it was covered in price. The hotel simply just said sorry after our ‘tour’. Throughout the stay the response from the hotel staff was very disappointing, most hotels we visit, the staff go the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable and hassle free as possible, here it was different. The worst experience of the holiday came on our final night. We came back to the hotel to find the AC not working (room temp stuck at 27/28 degrees C). Then the water was out. All around 7pm when our baby is going to bed. Technician came, and just said, it’s working fine. It clearly wasn’t as the room temperature stayed the same. We then smelt burning/smoke in the room and it was coming from the AC. The smell was obvious, and walking between corridor and our room it was so clear. Several staff came and told us, there is no issue. Unbelievable response to finish the holiday. We were offered a room around 11:30pm that would take 1hr to get ready. During this ordeal the receptionist simply said “and what should I do about it” in an angry tone. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone and would suggest going for one of the international chains out there where customer service is of a better expectation. Other flaws: -Dirty shower -extractor fan not working in bathroom -no movie channels -elevators full of shisha smoke because the shisha bar on the 4th floor uses the guest elevator to carry the coals around! -no minibar -one glass in the room -no option to charge food/drink to the room -not a...

It ends there.||Services: we arrived from the airport in a hotel-booked sprinter van. Me, my son and the driver were the ones unloading our 10 luggages. Only when we got our final bag into the lobby did the bellboy come to help load it onto a cart.||Front desk: Was greated by Luca who was great. Helped with our upgrade, and mentioned all the features of the hotel. When we went to see our room, there were a few dead roaches noticed in 2 of the bathrooms and the room was pretty warm. He said housekeeping will come clean the room and the a/c needs some time to get going since the room hasn't been used for a bit.||Fast forward the stay at the hotel--a/c never worked in the main part of the room or 2 of the 3 bedrooms. There was an infestation of roaches all over. I spent my nights walking around the room killing small and large roaches so they wouldn't go into my kids beds. ||Management called me and stated they would offer a 2 night compensation. Upon checkout, when I already had the car packed up and had to leave to the airport, they said of, they meant a small portion of 2 nights, not 2 entire nights. Then they said Luca would contact me after I left. Its been 2 days and no contact. ||AVOID this hotel. It's old, management is awful and does not understand how to treat its guests, especially guests in the presidential suite. The hotel is infested with roaches, and after speaking to several workers in the hotel, they all know about this and lie to your face. Offer no compensation and just delay until you check out. ||Lots of better options available, newer and better looking hotels. You will regret this place. Absolutely disgusting.
