This was the worst dining experience we have had in Georgia after a month. We entered the restaurant and saw the host/waiter up by the counter. We looked around a bit and just decided to sit where we wanted since he did not greet us. After a good 10 minutes to trying to read the menu on the mirror I finally had to go up to him and ask him if it was OK that we sat. He asked how many people, I'd been staring at him for 10 minutes trying to catch his eye and he didn't even notice we were there! He said to wait for 5 minutes and then he finally came over. Then we tried to order but almost everything on the menu was not available. I bet there were at least 8 different things that they didn't have before we settled on something. Then for the wine... A Georgian restaurant that didn't have their house wine available!!!!! Also didn't have our first two choices of wines by the bottle either. Finally he recommended that we get the most expensive wine on the menu. The food was good but we ended up with 3 mushroom dishes since that was all they had so it lacked variety. The waiter never came and checked on us and I had to go up again to get the bill. And speaking of the bill, the prices on the menu and the bill are higher than the prices that are listed on the wall; I read reviews from 2 years ago that complained about this and the restaurant said that they would update the wall. Very disappointing. I guess they are milking their Anthony Bourdain reputation and other locations are better but I highly suggest you go a couple doors down to Osekhelauri and get the attention and selection...

What a disappointment. The restaurant was 2/3 empty when we (a party of three) walked in. Nobody paid any attention to us for a while. There were servers available. We stood around and then just sat ourselves at one of the available tables.

Nobody acknowledged our presence until 15-20 minutes later. A server brought two English menus without saying hello or anything else. The prices were quite high for Tbilisi. After 20 more minutes the same server came back, again, without saying hello or welcoming us. I told him we were leaving without ordering anything.

To the owner's reply: You state, "Every time someone is coming in they (staff) pay attention and when guests sit where they want they come and then bring the menu." Pretty much you are stating that I am lying in my review: a very nice way to treat a customer. I repeat, when my party walked in, nobody paid ANY attention to us for a long time. If your guests can sit anywhere they please, then a logical and civilized manner woudl be to say, "Please sit yourselves wherever you want." Hope it make sense.

You also state, "we cannot approve your feedback about this issue because we will NOT have Russian Menu if you mean this." No, I did not mean this. I hope you can see based on my communication that I am quite fluent in English. I do not understand why you did not apologize for the lack of basic etiquette in welcoming your guests. Coming into your restaurant spoiled my mood and left a bad mouth in my (and my...

I ordered chikirtma and fried meat balls and one beer and bread, which was a corn tortilla actually. I was after a night out ,hangovered and hungry. I didn't finish any of the dishes because they were too saulty even for my hangovered cravings.I think the kitchen weren't taisting their own dishes while cooking them, that's why everything is unbearably salty. The staff was unnatentive at the start, I was clearly struggling to pick something up,and before I asked to help, the cashier was just facing me with his back chatting with kitchen staff, but that's nothing. Final check surprised me in a bad way 79 lari for chikirtma(18)+beer(16)+corn salty tortillas (8)+and salty meatballs (19),+18%vat, maybe I am bad at math but I am pretty sure it's supposed to be around 71 including vat.Chek does not list items that you ordered, just a final price. Overall unpleasant, overpriced and I don't recommend it, not coming back definitely. Also, it was uncomfortable to sit at the table, big wooden legged tables with children height. I recommend the owner to go order and eat something from his restaurant, I don't think he will end up happy with overall experience , and kitchen staff should taste their own dishes. If you see that a restaurant at the food court is almost empty, it's probably...

Stopped in for an early lunch at this joint after cruising around the city on a rainy Monday morning. Tourist friendly menu with a sense of humor (e.g. hangover cures). Quality ingredients too as the produce seemed fresh. Tried some pumpkin thing with a tangy sauce to whet my appetite. Then I tried the kashi which inspired me to snap a photo and write the following little diddy: What is this? Kashi: the time-tried tonic for the incorrigible inebriate, the national hangover cure since 500 AD. The main muchachos: garlic and tripe. Was I hungover? No. But the rainy day called for soup. The verdict: tripe tastes like the way a cow smells. Today, in Tbilisi, I tasted some tripe. Now I know, having tried it, that I’m not the tripe type!

The place is overrated. It was recommended to us by a friend. We had a veal shank soup and “guda” sheep cheese with tarragon. The soup was ok, but one can get pretty much the same thing at Sushi Wok in Moscow for half the price. I could not find any traces of tarragon in the second dish - just arugula and some other greens, that were not too fresh - brown spots, wilted. This kind of salad should be put in a trash let alone to be served to paying customers. Service was not great. Waiters were not overly friendly. The salad photo is below. Sad. There are way better places to spend money on food in Tbilisi
