kofevar — Restaurant in Tbilisi

I enjoyed the cake slice I ordered (fresh with blueberries inside with a thin sugar glaze on top). While Kofevar may have great coffee worth the price, (don't know, didn't order coffee), the non-coffee drink I ordered, pomegranate lemonade, for nine lari, was god awful; just liked the ice! Can't the staff make just a simple lemonade? One half lemon squeezed (or one whole lime) mixed with 1/2 teaspoon sugar then add classic club soda, stir, add ice. For the price charged, the drinks should be delicious and thirst-quenching -- not terrible. By the way, prices seem high but I can live with that if the products on offer are of correspondingly high calibre. Here that is not quite the case. I have been there several times and can say that this is a great place for a lot of different purposes. The food is delicious, I highly recommend mushrooms pasta, but you should ask a chef to add extra mushrooms to make it more tasty. Besides, the coffee is amazing and it doesn’t cost much. In this place you can work, chill, play PS for free and make friends. Overall, I have to say that this definitely is the must visit...

Дружелюбное и душевное светлое пространство. Здесь можно камерно попить кофе с подружкой, потусить с друзьями, поиграть в настолки, посидеть одной в уголке, занимаясь своими делами. Или поболтать с бариста, если сядешь у бара. Или провести свое мероприятие. Или водички попить. Или пивка. Или в нарды сыграть. Или книжку почитать — библиотека тут тоже дельная. А ещё никто слова плохого не скажет, если работаешь за ноутом.

Возможности почти безграничны.

Есть рейл со свопом — можно приодеться или принести что-то свое на своп. Я несколько раз приходила в кофевар, а уходила вообще в другой одежде, потому что своп решает.

Вкусный кофе, а цезарь с креветками (всего за 20 лари!!!) и драники с рыбкой обожаю всей душой.
