Epically bad. I don’t mean to be so harsh but this was probably the worst Thai food I’ve had in my life.
First the service - my partner and I walked in and it was a pretty full place, there were a few dirty tables from where people had just left and one clean table for two that had a water bottle on it. We asked if they had a table for two and the waitress said no, but you can sit outside. Since we are not smokers and I have asthma I really didn’t want to sit at one of their two outside tables they’ve reserved for smokers. When I asked if we could sit at the table with the water bottle she said no it’s reserved, and then proceeded to tell us they are closing at 11pm. assuming we were close to 11pm, I asked my partner what time it was, turns out it was only 10pm a whole hour for us to eat. She basically just didn’t want us to dine there! The other waitress quickly cleaned up one of the dirty tables and offered us a table. Ok great! Moving on....
The food.... I ordered Pad gra pow with chicken which usually means a minced meat (chicken in my case) stir fried quickly with chilis and fresh basil. I’ve included an image of the pad gra pow I received and what google images found for me. This was just the looks...the taste.... I don’t even know how to describe it. It was like a sweet cornstarchy sauce poured over the meat. The dark bits in the picture are the overcooked basil.
At first I thought I’d overlook the bad service because I was really craving some Asian food. But it turns out we really should have left when they didn’t want to seat us in the first place. it turns out the waitress was saving that one table with a water bottle for her boyfriend who showed up around 10:30pm, so she kept a table for him rather then give us paying customers a table...
I just don’t get this place you guys or understand how it has such amazing reviews!! Avoid...

I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that you won't leave hungry. Furthermore, the food arrived promptly, indicating their commitment to efficient service.
The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the "Yellow noodles with chicken and vegetables," also known as "Atria." This dish was simply exceptional, boasting a delightful blend of flavors.
The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the combination of fresh vegetables and plentiful chicken meat elevated the dish to new heights. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a delicious and savory meal.
Although the space is small, it exudes a cozy atmosphere. I've frequented this place around ten times, and on three occasions, finding a free table was a challenge (because of small space or it’s popularity among visitors, don’t know exactly 🤷🏻♂️).
Situated near Freedom Square, the restaurant enjoys a fantastic location. It's provides a great opportunity to explore the surrounding area before or after your meal.
However, for those who appreciate a good selection of beers, this might not be the ideal place. Unfortunately, they offer limited options when it comes to beer choices. Therefore, beer lovers might want to consider other establishments that cater more extensively to their preferences.
Overall, this restaurant offers delicious food, a cozy ambiance, and a prime location near Freedom Square. Just keep in mind the limited beer selection if that's an important factor for you.
With its delectable dishes and efficient service, it's certainly...
Read moreDefinitely one of my favorite places to go to when getting noodles or rice - not pricey, delicious, quick and authentic. Location: The location itself is conveniently in an easy-to-access and tourist-y area of the city, with loads of busses and even a metro nearby. It could be a bit hard to spot at first, but pretty easy with a map. Atmosphere: The atmosphere and vibe of the place is pretty much as cozy as it gets, with a delicious smell lingering throughout the restaurant, but a downside of the coziness is that there's not too much room inside. The staff themselves are super friendly and cheeky, in a good way. They're very willing to help you pick your food, customize your order and have it out ready quick and hot for you. The only real con of the place is that it's not always perfectly squeaky clean - some of the tables are sometimes very slightly stained from the previous customers, but it shouldn't be a problem if you just mention it to the staff, since they'll take care of it instantly. Food: The food itself is as good as it gets - probably the best yellow/glass noodles you can get in the city. Their sauces are simply amazing, with a bunch of customizability - ranging from sweet to sour to spicy as hell. The portion sizes are very reasonable, sometimes even more than you bargained for, so you're definitely leaving the place with your hunger satisfied.
Overall, I think Tuk Tuk is definitely THE place you want to visit if you're looking to satisfy your noodle or fried rice craving, with great value, great food and...
