My friends and I decided to have breakfast at your place, choosing it specifically because we had heard wonderful things about your delicious cuisine and cozy, comfortable atmosphere—which we were happy to find to be true. The interior and overall vibe were exactly what we were looking for.
However, I feel it’s important to express some disappointment regarding the service we received. While I am someone who always treats staff with kindness and understanding, and we arrived that morning in a very positive and cheerful mood, the attitude of your waitstaff left us quite disheartened. Not only were we told—rather bluntly—that there were no available tables, but this happened even as a nearby table was asking for their bill and kindly offered us their spot. Despite this, we were turned away without so much as an effort to accommodate us.
Moreover, once we were eventually seated, the waiter’s behavior was dismissive and inattentive. He didn't clear the table or check in on us, and his overall demeanor was, frankly, rude and unpleasant.
It has now been about 10 days since our visit, and I’ve taken the time to reflect before writing this review. I truly believe in the value of constructive feedback, especially when it comes from a place of appreciation. The food, the setting, and the concept of your restaurant are genuinely wonderful—thanks to the talented chefs and thoughtful owners. For that, we are grateful.
I share these thoughts in the hope that attention will be given to the training and attitude of your staff, so that future guests can enjoy not only your excellent cuisine but also a warm and respectful...
Read moreCame to Mint after seeing a solid 4.5-star rating with 426 reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype. We were a party of two and ordered a chicken sandwich, eggs Benedict with chicken miso, and Belgian waffles for dessert.
Positives: The place has a great vibe, excellent location, nice atmosphere, and genuinely good service. The staff were polite and accommodating throughout.
Negatives: The chicken sandwich arrived with a hair embedded in the melted cheese - clearly not ours. To their credit, they handled it well and took it off the bill without fuss. The eggs Benedict were okay: poached eggs on crispy chicken over a waffle, topped with a powdered miso sauce. Decent, but nothing special. The biggest letdown was the Belgian waffle. I specifically asked if it would be well-done/crispy, and the waiter assured me it would be crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. It came out limp and underdone - fell apart with the slightest pressure from the fork.
Service was very slow. We were there for 90 minutes for just three dishes - longer than any other restaurant we’ve been to, even when ordering 4-5 items elsewhere.
All in all, not a place we’d return to. The ambience and staff were great, but the food and pacing just didn’t...
Read moreIt’s a place made for instagram, very bright and pretty. Food however is really bad or at least what I got: eggs Benedict with prosciutto, the first plate I had to send back as the eggs were cooked inside and the yolk wasn’t runny, it just wasn’t ‘Benedict’. The second time it was cooked right but the whole dish was bland and tasteless as if the chef is allergic to salt and pepper. Only ham (which is by the way is not prosciutto) had some kind of a taste. The waffle, the hollandaise, the egg was tasteless. I also ordered chai latte on coconut milk and only got coconut milk in the mug as the chai was forgotten. When the tea was added, there was no difference, as I guess, the concept of brewing is unknown here. Overall, if you want to take a pretty picture of your tasteless food without eating - this is the...
