Manl Koreanische Küche — Restaurant in Aachen

Update: The menu has been vastly updated with way more options, even the vegetarian ones since our last visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the food! Original review: We found this place just recently, set on a relatively quiet part of Aachen's center, just a minute away from the Rathaus... Cash-only place with very friendly staff.. We tried all the three vegetarian options on offer (Vegetable ramen, Fried rice and Kimchi)... All three dishes were absolutely brilliant, with the Kimchi turning out to be a really great companion to the pretty mildly seasoned Rice, so much so that we asked for an extra serving of the Kimchi sauce, which they provided happily. I was also pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, when one of them came up to us at the end of the meal and let us know that they're planning to expand their menu to include a few more vegetarian options and that we should check again in about a month... Overall a very good meal and...

We went there for lunch and were seated outside. It's a cozy place that feels like the cooks also enjoy eating the food they make.

Their kimchi radish was so refreshing and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants something with a crunch and tastes fresh to break off the spice in the food.

Their mandu was divine! My kids loved it and gobbled it all up. It was fried to perfection and the filling was well-balanced and moist.

My kids ordered tofu ramen and it tasted very comforting. I can imagine eating it on cold rainy days or just in winter... A warm hug in a bowl!

Lastly, I ordered the pork bowl which was a lovely rice bowl. It tastes homy.

I will definitely go there again to enjoy warm dishes that taste like they were made by people who do their job well and take pride in creating good,...

Satisfaction: ①The service of the waiter is good and friendly. ②The restaurant environment and outdoor dining location is relatively clean and tidy. Dissatisfaction: ① waiting time is very long, at 7:30 pm only see a waitress in the care of about twenty customers, waiting time of more than half an hour. I'm not sure if it's a special case ② the variety of dishes is sparse and disappointing, the ramen is not traditional ramen but instant noodles, and the amount of noodles is very small, for me only two to three bites of the amount, completely unworthy of its price, I strongly doubt how people with a normal amount of food can tolerate this ramen.
