I went here with my father for what had been promised to be a traditional German dining experience. The girl that served us was rude beyond reproach and behaved as if we were a nuisance and unwanted because we were not German. There was a problem when we asked for a translation of various dishes as this restaurant despite depending on the tourism industry thinks it beneath them to provide an English menu!! I'm a vegetarian and there was no choice for me at all. I was told to order spaghetti as they had an Italian chef!!! I wanted traditional food. When the spaghetti arrived, unless it was cooked by a blind, armless chef who's taste buds were severed no Italian cooked that spaghetti! It was thrown onto the table with hostility and it was covered in black vinegar. My father's dish was inedible also even though he is a meat eater. The waitress was giving out about us to her colleague and it was clearly visible in front of the entire outside veranda of diners and me, whilst she downed copious amounts of beer. I ordered some potatoes which were served with pieces of bacon and dripping in fat despite the fact that she knew I was a vegetarian. The message was clear. This restaurant is...
Read moreWe were looking for the classic German restaurant, and this restaurant was the right choice. nice location, good food. At night, you can enjoy the beautiful sight of the Rathaus while eating if you seat outside. The food was also good. I ordered the yellow mushroom dish which you can see in the photo, and the flavor was amazing. The yellow mushroom dish was today's menu so maybe you can't find that on the Menukarte. My companion ordered Blutwurst and Aachener something(sorry, I can't remember the whole name.) and that were also tasty. potato ball had proper chewy texture and the Blutwurst was the best ever. I am willing to visit here again and definitely order Blutwurst then. Thank you for another nice memory...

Was sat outside in the middle of a number of smokers unfortunately, and got my order taken 10-15 minutes after for the schnitzel in cream-pepper sauce. The food itself was perfectly average and satisfying in that sense, but nothing to write home about. It's more the slow service and smoke filled dinner that affects the score for me (the latter of which I understand they can't really do too much about, but it's part of the experience...
