I recently visited 60 Seconds to Napoli in Aachen, drawn by its central location and the promise of authentic Neapolitan pizza. The restaurant is well-situated, making it a convenient stop for both locals and tourists. The staff were friendly and welcoming, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere.
However, the dining experience left much to be desired. The pizza, which is the centerpiece of their menu, was disappointing. The crust was overly soft and soggy, lacking the crispness typically associated with Neapolitan-style pizza. The toppings were sparse and did not deliver the robust flavors one would expect. Considering the premium pricing, the quality did not meet expectations.
In summary, while 60 Seconds to Napoli boasts a great location and friendly service, the food quality, particularly the pizza, does not justify the higher prices. It’s a decent spot for a quick meal, but there are better options in Aachen for authentic and...
Read moreOn a recommendation of a friend, I have noticed “60 Seconds to Napoli” in Aachen City. The dark decorated indoor area is lit with interesting and eye-catching copper colored dome lights suspended from the ceiling. The menu consists of appetizers, salads, a wide selection of pizzas desserts and beverages.
The special feature is that the pizza dough is used after 72 hours of rest and the pizzas are baked in just 60 seconds at 485° in the oven. Only ‘San Marzano tomatoes’ and ‘Fior di Latte’ from Naples/Campania would be used.
We ordered a veggie pizza called “Arnie”, which is topped with Styrian mountain cheese, fior di latte, baby spinach and seasoned with garlic and black pepper, as well as a side salad.
We have to admit that at the first bite we were actually in Napoli with all our senses 😃 The mountain cheese and the fior di latte gave the pizza that certain something in terms of taste. Simply grandissimo!

Read moreOrdered here via uber eats today and unfortunately both of our pizzas ended in the trashbin without being eaten. They were incredibly wet, soggy, cold, just generally not edible. Part of the box had become so wet that the cardboard was coming off. The pizzas were somehow both undercooked as well as burnt, and the toppings, both meat and cheese, were next to the pizza instead of on it. I’m very much against food waste but we just couldn’t eat this. I understand that this might partially be an uber eats issue, but they make it impossible to leave a review, and I can’t imagine the food being this soggy being the deliverer’s fault (unless he somehow managed to spill a lot of water over the food). I’m just disappointed because it wasn’t necessarily cheap, and when I did eat in your restaurant before, the food was genuinely really good, so I don’t understand how the delivery can be so bad....
