It is truly not easy to find an upscale restaurant that is open for lunch on a Sunday. Therefore, I am even happier to have discovered this gem. The exterior facade hardly hints at what lies inside. The interior is very stylish and elegant. I quickly found a nice spot and was handed the menu and wine list by the extremely attentive service. I opted for the current Ecke menu (6 courses). The wine list ranges from solid to high-end and is compiled with great expertise, ensuring there is something for everyone. Every course was excellent, but I especially want to highlight the corn flounder fillet and the May venison medallion with red wine pepper sauce - simply wonderful.
