Aposto Augsburg — Restaurant in Augsburg

This place has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. This was a normal, not too crowded day and time and it took about 10 minutes after sitting down to even get a menu, which the waitress put on the table without a word and immediately turned around to walk to another table. In the meantime a different waiter from a different section came up to us and immediately gave off a hostile and arrogant vibe and told me off for still holding an empty plastic cup from a different place. I was hoping to discard it while we’re waiting for our food once we placed our order and I explained this to him, but he once again came over and told me off very condescendingly even though I held it in my hand UNDER the table, for virtually no one to see. I understand bringing outside food or drinks to a restaurant is a no-go, but this was an empty plastic cup. I was planning to order drinks and food, but the encounter with him completely made me lose my appetite. The waitress in our section kept serving every table around us but never asked us if we’re ready to order for a full 30 minutes while we were still sitting at our table. (we were using the time to look up alternative places to eat, got up and left.) don’t plan on ever returning. the food is good - thats why this review got 1 star, but the service is beyond awful, the food doesn’t...

We went to a restaurant and had some meals and drinks. I suggested paying for the entire table and splitting the bill later for the waiter's convenience. I received the amount I needed and paid. The next day, when we calculated what we had eaten and drunk and added the prices from the menu, we realized we had overpaid by 14 euros. We wondered if we had forgotten something we had ordered or if the tip had been calculated into the bill. After checking our photos (thankfully we had taken them), we confirmed that nothing was missing that we were supposed to be charged for. We asked our German friends who live there if it's common practice to include the tip in the bill, but they said that it is not. Good morning, Nice place and easy to find. Walked past allot of shops and found Aposto in a main square next to nice old building, representing some Historic past from Augsburg. Restaurant is very nice and the Lady welcoming us was very attentive and helpful. We sat on the left side of the entrance looking into the square. Aposto also has a seating area upstairs and when the good weather is out, also a large seating area outside. A long bar, full of top drinks that we all know and wanna have. Toilets updtairs, very clean bright and smell nice. Food was good and did not take too long. Nicely decorated plates and good portions. All side orders cost 3.50. If I remember correct.so take care, but a good size portion. All staff nice and happy. I Will always come back..see...
