Cafe Kunsthalle — Restaurant in Baden-Baden

My visit today was rather upsetting even tho the food was great. Service.. non existent. The ambience at first is very cool, modern, colorful. The colorful window foil make the light shine through in bright hues. But once you want to sit down inside, you feel more like in a mensa. The tables are way too big for a café. We waited 15 minutes and then went to the café bar, where 5 people pretended very hard we were not there. A waiter told us to sit down so they'd remember the table. The waiter never appeared, instead a different one finally noticed us. The food was delicious, very fresh and unique. While eating, the bright red and blue light through the window makes it hard to see and actually started hurting my eyes. Overall the space inside is very uncomfortable because the café itself is more of a foyer where people enter to the museum, with a ticket desk and a book sale in the same room, waiters keep running into the people that enter and exit the exhibition or jsut wait around and it makes it a very nervous and uneasy place, I didn't feel at peace here. Coole Location für Allee Besucher im Herzen der Stadt. Foyer Künstlerisch gestaltet von Erol Vert "Garden of Ornaments. Schöne Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen. Caprese war lecker 😋 mit frischem Toast. Aber auch die Waldpilze im Kurkuma Rahm mit Semmelknödeln schmeckten sehr gut. Nette kleine Bar aber auch Gartenterrasse mit Blick in die Allee und auf Baden-Baden. Anlass des Besuchs war eine Abend Veranstaltung im Foyer. Wer also einen Allee Besuch plant und das Frieder Burda Museum besucht oder die Kunsthalle selbst, ist hier richtig für einen Einkehrschwung. Empfehle Park and Ride vom Cineplex Kino in der Cite aus. Haltestelle Leopoldsplatz oder Hindenburgplatz, um durch die jetzt schön Frühlingsblühende Allee zu schlendern. Lohnt sich auf jedenfall um das Oostal und...

Für mich ein sehr angenehmer Ort, besonders da das Café in der Kunsthalle und neben dem Museum Burda liegt. Außer bei Vernissage nie überfüllt, ein ruhiger Platz zum Lesen und Freunde treffen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, das Angebot an Kuchen und kleinen Speisen ist von guter Qualität. Besonders schön sind die Außenterrasse und der Balkon mit Blick auf die Lichtentaler Allee.
