Read moreI am very very very surprised by the reviews from this place.
This is literally the worst food I had in Berlin.
I had to go 3 times already since one of my friend has a tradition to go there for his birthday since it is large enough to accommodate big groups and most importantly they are offering watered down shots of Ouzo for free during the all evening.
I guess this explains the good reviews and completely biased perception of the dining experience.
When it comes to the food itself, it is kind of gross to be honest, everything tastes like deep frozen preparations, sunken in oil for a bit too long. I don’t think anything is fresh there. Even the salads are a joke. I beg you to stay away from this place if you are looking for good food.
However, if you’re the kind of person who does not really care about freshness, textures, taste or presentation of the food & would drink any free alcohol, then you should go there.
Additionally, the atmosphere is let’s say very loud.
I just want to warn the people looking for a cozy or charming greek restaurant in prenzlauer berg. Its more like a spring break kind of vibe. There’s more shots happening there than in US...
Read moreWe all know the places that got more tables than space and this is actually one of them. This place is overcrowded all the time. You feel as if it was the place to be, the pinnacle of Greek cuisine when you enter this restaurant.
I’m afraid I have to tell you that it’s not. The food itself is mediocre. It’s okay, but then again it is nothing special at all. The only special thing about this place is that there are actually few Greek restaurants in the area.
The service is not so great and this is because there are too many tables and not enough space for runners to navigate. It’s clear that the owners want to suck in as much money as possible and the personnel is very distressed because of this.
This restaurant offers no retreat from the city’s velocity at all. It’s uncomfortable, crowded and loud, which makes it overall a distressful experience. This is gastronomy gone wrong. I’m afraid I can’t recommend...
