Ba Quê — Restaurant in Berlin

The good thing about this place is that you can pay using your card. The food itself however is pretty average and maybe even on the mediocre side. I had duck with coconut milk and peanut butter, which I usually get because it's so difficult to go wrong with that. The basic flavours basically take care of the cooking. Here, I have to conclude, even this admittedly basic dish wasn't very tasty. The sauce was not flavoured right and the meat felt dried out. At least I got my order...

We where around the area for some other reason and came across this place during lunch time. To be honest we have had hunger, it was cold outside and no better option around, so we went there. Friendly staff but their tofu is unfortunately almost inedible. Don’t know if that has to do with the oil, the batter or the seasoning. Since I almost never receive virtually inedible tofu at restaurants, I would normally have to give 2/5 stars but since the prices are incredibly low, I’m going to give 3/5.
