I'm surprised that it took me so long to find this place after five years of living in the district and spending so much time in the Nollendorfkiez, but what a lovely gem. Nice, cosy and comfortable seats await you in a bar that boasts character and, for me anyway, a nostalgic throwback to the more parochial gay bars you tend to find outside cities. There's a personal touch and that doesn't stop with the presentation. The bar staff were extremely welcoming when I entered and even entertained my atrocious accent when speaking German (they spoke to others in English, so those who can't speak German are catered for too).
It's a smoking bar, so if that bothers you, you might want to give it a miss. But if not, do pop down and take a look at this place for yourself. It's a wonderfully unpretentious bar that gives you a warm welcome. I'll definitely be coming...
