Been here twice. First time was decent, even though the „house special“ of Zürcher Geschnetzeltes doesn’t come close to its Swiss origin and the lobster salad in the roll way to cold to be be palatable. Still at this point I would have given 3,8 stars.
On my second visit, I was very disappointed to say the least. Not to deveine (taking out the black digestive tract) the shrimp, is lazy and not in any way acceptable way for the price and style. Its okay on a street food market in Palermo..
Furthermore , the filet mignon is not a filet mignon. They slice off parts of the filet that is sitting in the kitchen. Filet mignon actually is the center part of the tenderloin prepared as a steak, seared on all sides as opposed to a chateaubriand. The result is slices of meat that have hardly seen any searing and are just above room temperature. Again, that is a lazy move and at this point poorly executed.
They seem to cut corners and are overwhelmed.

Read moreLittle update from our last visit yesterday : This is THE place to BE in the West. The owner is so very welcoming and charming. The food was really delicious , the ratatouille is to be tried ! The crowd was great . It felt so good to come back again.
Well , what a surprise !!!!The deco is nice and give the feeling that you are in a Parisian bistrot .The athmosphere is great( outside like inside ) , drinks as well. The food was unexpectedly great as well . We choose the almond salad to start together with the lobster , very good! Then the Zurich schnitzels and the cafe de paris beef , delicious. The portions are good . The service was a little slow but nothing exagerated , a bit French style . The desserts looked great but we will for sure try it next time . It’s a little gem in berlin that a Parisian like me is veryyy pleased to...
Read moreWhat a great addition to the restaurants in this Kietz … a relaxed, almost french inspired atmosphere. Small tables on the pavement - watching people and enjoying great wine and excellent dishes.
Most guest agree that the meat dishes are excellent - a point to the best results prepared. The service is fun and professional passionate. If you go for three courses and some good wine and two cocktails as a starter expect 100€ per person for a French night out
The menu is fresh bistro style. We went for the shrimp cocktail as flashback of the 70s, and a classic terrine - to be followed by an excellent filet mignon with cafe de Paris sauce and the Entrecôte a la cafe de Paris … reaching heaven easily
The baba de rhum were you can chose yourself how much rum you pour …see Video … and the mouse au chocolate...
