Not good at all. Why? Let me explain:
First of all the portions are really small. Secondly the prices are over the top. Third point is that the atmosphere is not comfortable at all. It reminds me on a hospital.
I really have expected more when i red the reviews here on google before.
I do understand the concept that everything there is vegan but when i have to spend 4 Euros for an iced latte which is only 200ML in total then sorry it is not worth it. I am not ready to support capitalism only because its vegan.
The bagel costs 5 Euros wich is really ridiculous. Come on guys....
In total i can say: even starbucks is not that capitalistic like you guys and i am serious about my review.
I cant get it why people are so supportive. When someone in the streets would cheat on me that way i would slap him very badly and walk away.
Sorry for the people who can't do a comparison cause they are dependingnon that area maybe because of hotels or whatever. And sorry for tourists who are not able to check the area out because they are afraid of getting lost maybe.
I am recommending to google about alternatives in that area.
The only thing i am sorry about is that i really has to write this review after i was disappointed reallzly badly .... Wish the other people here would be right.
2 Stars cause the cashier was able to speak english.
Und das alles schreibe ich bewusst auf englisch, da eher Touristen sich in der Gegend rumlaufen und ich diese Menschen respektiere und es nicht einsehe so hohe Kosten auf...
Read moreStopped in here on our way back to our hotel around 7pm on a Friday evening. There was a full range of donuts available and we were absolutely spoilt for choice.
In the end, we went with the 4 donuts for 10€ deal. My 3 year old had a strawberry donut with sprinkles (photo below!) and ate the lot!
Me and my partner split three between us (which wasn’t the best idea as they’re big donuts!) because there was just so much to choose from. We went for the cinnamon crunch, Frankfurter Kranz and cookie dough. O.M.G. They were all amazing and I didn’t realise until I just read it on their website that they’re all vegan! As a baker who often makes vegan bakes for work colleagues despite not being vegan myself I know how tricky vegan baking can be - but WOW, Brammibals nail it! Amazing texture and taste!
The donuts are massive and worth every penny (or cent, I guess!) - definitely enough for two people to share one without feeling like you’ve not had enough. Not that I’d recommend sharing just one when there are so many to choose from.
I loved the quirky/kitsch vibe - some of the newer building around Potsdamer Platz always feel a bit soulless to me, but there was a wonderful welcoming feel here.
I’ll be heading back here next time I’m in Berlin to try the other flavours we...
Read moreI’m not vegan or vegetarian, i like their donuts. Their donuts are good, expensive but impressive. Just tried their red velvet donut (3.50€ each). Taste nothing like red velvet (it’s only red) but the filling of raspberry and cream was good. Tasted like a raspberry cream donut rather than red velvet.
Their staffs don’t speak German. I asked a simple question : bis wie viel uhr sind Sie auf?, they didn‘t understand and told me to speak English. I have no problem with that, I’m an immigrant. but I can imagine if the German people being told to speak English in their own country, they’re probably not gonna be very happy.
The coffee is ridiculously expensive. Starbucks is cheap if you compare it to Brammibal. My Ice latte cost 4,20€ and it’s served in a small glass, probably 150ml. Like some artisan top barista coffee. Seriously? I know it’s organic oat milk or whatever. But seriously tho? 4.20€ for 150ml iced latte? And it’s not a good coffee either. I‘ll choose Starbucks...
