Burger City Schlesische Straße — Restaurant in Berlin

It was almost 10 pm, me and my friend were coming from a show. We were hungry so thought of this place. It gave a good impression as first, we ordered 2 burger menus. I see prices like 7- 18 Euros depending on size, mine was 14 and my friends was about 18. The dude at the counter charged me 42 Euros not sure how did it come to that and then after paying by card he threw my receipt immediately. I couldn’t even see what he charged me for. I went back and the burgers came, fries were good but the burger tasted so mid, almost stale, then fries also had a bit off taste, the seasoning covered it, burger was kind of hard to swallow. Me and my friend both left without finishing everything. I woke up this morning with a sore throat with tonsillitis before writing this review. I am in pain, what is this place bro. We ordered 2 simple burgers at 11PM they came just before 1AM (on Uber page it said they should come in around 35 minutes).

We made the order through Uber eats but the delivery service was all on the behalf of the burger city.

The hamburger had 2 layers of meat, the one that arrived was very poor, burned one slice, and obviously cold.

The phone number to the place doesn't work, so we didn't know if it actually would arrive or not. Should we wait, or order from other place.

And come on guys, if you're not able to do the orders just block it, and don't let customers wait for you for 2 hours, we are in Berlin after all, there were many places that we could order from and have it delivered on time, especially that it was Thursday late evening, I don't believe that's it's such a crowded time.

Very lovely place. The staff were awesome and we felt very welcomed, we were even given extra fries because they accidentally made too much. The food is phenomenal and definitely worth the price. I never had such an amazing burger in my life that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. The fact that the food is even hala warrants some brownie points, because I couldn't even tell that my bacon was beef. Even after a hard day of concert going, to which noone wants to think too much about food afterwards, it was awesome. We weren't even judged as we sat there, waiting on our food, faces smeared with black face paint from the concert we went to.

Would recommend, especially if you're booking the hostel right next door. Easy and fast food, without too...
