IL PIZZAIOLO — Restaurant in Berlin

Good pizza, awful staff! There is a terrible vibe from the staff and management here, seemingly stemming from the fact that they resent serving people. I can’t think of two people that are less suited to their roles. Here are some of the things you can expect here:

When we got in, we asked for the front door to be closed as it was fairly cold inside the restaurant (15°C). Initially, it was, but the manager quickly came out and reopened it without acknowledging why it had been closed. When we asked him, he told us that a window in the back of the restaurant had been closed, which would stop the room from being cold. Spoiler alert: it didn't, meaning we had to sit inside with our coats on for the duration of our meal.

Every time we ordered something to the table, it felt like we were inconveniencing our waitress; she'd roll her eyes and screw up her face and make a snarky comment about us not being able to decide what we wanted. Honestly, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but she's like this every time we go.

A member of our party paid and we left the restaurant. As we slowly walked down the road we could hear this screaming gradually getting louder. The waitress was chasing us shouting obscenities that we hadn't paid. Unfortunately, the payment hadn't gone through - an honest mistake but it does happen sometimes. It was obvious that she thought we'd done this on purpose.

My most recent trip will probably be my last as I can’t bring myself to support an establishment that cares so little about...

This was our second visit at that restaurant. We had an amazing time the first time -the food was great,the service friendly and informative.We wanted to rate this restaurant 5 stars but unfortunately will be giving only 3 thanks to a rude waitress that was serving us today! She came with the attitude “I don’t care” gave us menu cards and left,when she came back she waited leaning over the table with her arms on it ,face down (strange position) and asked AND??? !!At this point we thought about leaving ,but we were really hungry so we decided to stay . She came back and forgot my order so I told her about that and she informed me that now I have to wait 10 min like it was my fault! Absolute nightmare! In the end we were happy to have food which was amazing! The cook came out and we gave him thumbs up! The pizzas we ordered were really tasty! We asked for the bill and even though the restaurant was practically empty ,it took the waitress a while to come back. She gave us the bill and we gave her the money waiting for her to give us the change back as we did not want to leave her any tip money ,she took all and left!!! It was only 2,50€ but I was furious ! Weird behavior,no f... given,made you feel unwelcome and...

I went there a week ago and the service was very rude, I “only” ordered bruschetta and water because i wasn’t very hungry However I still wanted to sit somewhere because it was rainy and cold outside and I wanted to rest for a while The Spanish waitress looked at me in a very weird way when she took my order and said oh no I wouldn’t recommend that it’s not a lot and also mumbled wow that’s all you want...when I asked her for the WiFi she couldn’t tell me the password and neither way she asked her co workers... the bruschetta bread I got was burned and very hard to cut :/ taste was like nothing The waiter with the black nail polish, that looked like it was applied weeks ago, was very very unfriendly, he smashed the plate on my table. I should’ve checked the reviews about service first! Avoid that place at all costs As soon as I wanted to pay she started discussing with me that card payment ain’t possible .. oh god you don’t have cash?? I had cash but she should’ve told me before and what guess what kinda miracle happened, in the end it was possible to pay with card... Service - zero stars /- xxxx stars Food - one...
