Meine ehrliche, leicht hungrige Meinung zum Bar Restaurante Faro Auf Empfehlung einer Person, die sich in ganz Deutschland auf Google Maps Restaurants aus irgendwelchen Kochsendungen abgepinnt hat (fragt mich nicht, ich schau keine deutsches TV), hab ich mich also ins Faro begeben zu Fuß, gute Stunde durch Berlin, damit ich mir das Essen auch wirklich verdient habe. Ich hatte die Rinderbäckchen mit Bratkartoffeln oder sowas in der Art das Fleisch war so zart, dass es beim Hinschauen schon zerfallen ist. Dazu gab’s Datteln im Speckmantel knusprig, süß-salzig und einfach gut. Der Kellner war super freundlich. Eine Kellnerin hat wortlos serviert, sich aber am Ende verabschiedet immerhin. Die Stimmung war ruhig, gemütlich fast schon romantisch (ich hatte eine romantisches Dinner mit mir selbst😶) spanische Musik im Hintergrund, die Mitarbeiter unterhalten sich auf Spanisch (glaube ich zumindest nachdem ich narcos zu Ende geschaut habe). Man fühlt sich fast wie im Urlaub. Die Portion wirkte anfangs klein, aber mit dem Essen, einer Cola und einer großen Flasche Wasser war ich relativ satt wobei das wohl auch an der Trinkmenge gelegen haben könnte 😄. Alles zusammen unter 30 € in Berlin ist ok. Fazit: gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, angenehme Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen. Ich war nur beruflich in Berlin aber wenn ich wieder in der Nähe bin, könnte es gut möglich sein dass ich wieder vorbeikomme. Und Ilo falls du das liest danke an meine Restaurant-Scout-Cousine. 😄

This place has a pleasant atmosphere, dim and warm, which made me feel like home. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. We ordered a liter of Sangria, tapas mix plate and 2 extra small tapas for 3 of us. There are places where you can eat bit more delicious tapas at a slightly cheaper price, but do not expect such a warm environment!

Really nice Tapas place in Berlin. The food was really good, I want to highlight that each Tapa came as soon it was cooked so you can really appreciate how fresh was it. The place is really nice and cozy and the service is also really good. Good relationship food-price. It's also nice that you can pay with card over 20 euros check.

Went there for a Friday night with friends. Halfway through our dinner, a horrible rotten egg smell started spreading. We were the closest to the kitchen, unfortunately. Anout 5 mins later, the waitress started spraying one of those toilet spray smells over it, in order to hide the stench. Unfortunately, all that it accomplished was that the restaurant smelled like a toitoi after a week in the sun. 🤢🤢The waitress told us that they were cleaning the kitchen and hit the connection to the sewer. WHY WOULD THEY DO THE CLEANING WITH PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT?!? Disappointing. Went there already once and was nice. Never...

Update: when submitting this review, the restaurant responded with an insolicided advice for us to ”consider our alcohol consumption”, when in fact none of us were intoxicated. It is sad to see this deflective behaviour when one simply could have apologized and worked towards improving the service. Another proof of the unwillingness to cooperate shown by this establishment.

They charged us for things we didn’t order and when we noticed the error, the staff was incredibly rude and refused to solve the problem. Mind you this was a birthday, and considerably affected the mood of...

Faro is a super cozy and charming spot. The food is 'muy delicioso'! You can find here something for everyone, from lovely tapas (octopus croquettes were my stars!) over to fish and rounded up by my personal highlight - the beef cheeks. Big recommendation! I loved the menu variety a lot & I also recommend the Rose wine (: Together with the charming and funny staff (all Spanish) it was a super nice evening which felt very authentic and made me want to visit Spain very much/very soon again.
