Coffee Fellows - Kaffee, Bagels, Frühstück — Restaurant in Berlin

As previously mentioned, since this place is in my neighbourhood, I go here regularly. I usually pick up a turkey bagel with my choice of bagel bread. I went here yesterday, around 17:00 and the young woman working was extremely rude and entitled. I politely asked her if she could make me a turkey bagel, and she said she had already prepared all the bagels in the morning and was not going to prepare anything else at that time. When I asked why (as normally they would just make it for you), she said that I could take what was there or I was free to leave. This was unexpectedly rude. The bagels prepared in the morning seemed soggy and old, with the sauce or dressing soaking all day in the bread. This isn’t the quality I or service I expect from coffee fellows. Keep in mind, there was not a single customer waiting in line, I was the only one ordering (so not crowded). I will avoid this spot for now, but I’d recommend training your employees to treat people with a little more kindness, especially when I gave her no reason to be rude.

Old review (2023): I’ve been to this location many times, and tried almost all of their menu. I recommend the turkey bagel, and most of their cakes and cookies.

It’s kind of overpriced for what you get. I see that most people like to sit around and spend the day here working, or chilling. It’s located in a busy area, which I guess is good if you like to work in such a surrounding.

One staff member terribly rude. I didnt get his name but he is kinda of tall ethnic looking and wears little round glasses with dark hair and eyes. He was terribly rude when ordering and not helpful at all when I asked a question about the coffee. He was dismissive, very arrogant, and just unhelpful. And no it wasnt a culture difference. I speak German and he is always rude to English speaking customers and frankly needs to be spoken to. Im sure you can identify him as he is the only guy with this decryption that works at the place and has been working there for years. Pls speak to him because otherwise I will make a formal complaint to trading standards and escalate it to higher management. I stumbled across Coffee Fellows while meeting a friend of mine for a coworking, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. The atmosphere is super relaxed, with comfy seating and a clean, modern vibe that makes it easy to settle in whether you’re working on your laptop or just catching up with a friend.

I ordered a cappuccino and a sesame bagel with cream cheese both were fresh and really tasty. The coffee had a smooth flavor, and the bagel was warm and satisfying. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience.
