DON’T spend your money and time in this place.

After 10 years in gastronomy and 3 as manager, I think my judgements are quite fair. Since I have a team myself and I know how hard this job can be at times, I’m very likely to be generous, but after this experience it just happens to be impossible.

I was actually quite excited about visiting not only a Korean, but a vegan restaurant, since I’m vegetarian myself.

The first thing I noticed was the menu, they claim to be a Korean place but half of the meals is Vietnamese and apart from soju (not even on the menu, I had to ask for it), they have no typical (nor asian) drinks whatsoever.

I ordered Bibimbap and Gimbap (both eaten already elsewhere since I’m quite a fan of Korean kitchen) and clearly asked if they were spicy cause I can’t handle much spicy food, I even asked for recommendations to avoid picking something hot by mistake. The waitress suggested me the Bibimbap with pumpkin cream, she said it was a tiny bit spicy, and that I would have barely noticed. She didn’t mention the Gimbap was very spicy too (neither was it specified in the menu).

The food was there in less than 5 minutes, extremely quick. After trying it, I was completely unable to eat anything, it was so spicy I asked my friend (used to spiciness) to try it, and she also said it wasn’t eatable.

The waitress steps outside every 20 minutes (if not more), so after seeing her (my friend was already done eating her dish) I asked if there was any chance to get something else and replace my food, cause as she could see my bowl was full, I couldn’t eat it anything. She first told me it wasn’t that spicy, yet I told her that maybe it wasn’t for her, but for me and my friend was it was, and after trying for a while to convince us to try it again and again till we magically think it’s not spicy anymore and after telling me it was basically my fault to not be able to eat it, she finally says ā€œokay, than I bring you the menu and you choose something elseā€, so I asked if I should pay for it and she replies no, that is covered by the restaurant. I thanked her, decided on something else and she left. As I chose something slightly more expensive, I also told her I’m gonna pay the difference of course.

Then she comes back after 15 minutes saying if I’m sure I want something else cause I actually have to pay for it, and the only thing they can do for free is adding some rice to my bowl so the spiciness is decreased. Me and my friend were totally out of words, and just asked for the bill. She packed the food to go and just told me 5 times to try it later, that it’s gonna be less spicy after some time.

After all this waiting, I wasn’t hungry anymore and just very pissed.

I studied drink and food costs, so I know how much a dish like that costs to you, and it’s very sad to not only refuse replacing it, but then even trying convincing the customers there is something wrong with their palate and taste, cause surely the dish is fine.

I’m at home with a bad stomachache since yesterday evening.

Very uncool experience. Absolutely not...

We came on a really crowded Valentine’s Day, as we entered Feel Seoul Good, we didn’t have high expectations getting a table .. A really tall waiter greeted us nicely and was asking if we did book a table. After explaining that we haven’t had the chance to, since the telephone number was outdated, he apologized sincerely and was asking us if we could wait another 5 minutes and he would make sure to get us a table. Even though it was amazingly busy he managed to give us such a nice table in less than 2 minutes without reservation!!! It took quite a while to order, but we recognized on that day there was only one waiter there and we wouldn’t mind waiting! As we received the meal and the drinks after a while he also apologized and explained every meal. He was really nice and respectful in the way talking with us. He also recommended us other places to go and we haven’t seen yet! The waiter talked with such a chill, it was amazing! Even though the tables next to us were pretty much screaming and you could see that everyone was just stressed out and a lot was going on: he stayed cool, shared his time with us and gave recommendations for the meals -all we needed! The food was good, nothing to complain about

All in all: A verrrryyyyy busy day - no reservation - still got a table - really professional, friendly staff - great food - everything just amazing!!! Weā€˜ve never met such professional staff before Weā€˜ll definitely be back soon and thank you so much...

Probably I'm just too harsh or difficult to be convinced, but having too many cuisines mixed in a vegan concept like does not seem to work. I don't understand the mix of Korean foods and Vietnamese foods

Here are what I don't like about the place: Bibimbap hot bowl is placed on a wooden tray but not gripping the bowl properly, so when you mix the rice, the hot bowl moves a lot (this is highly inconvenient & dangerous since the bowl is often very hot). It should be put in a specific tray of bibimbap (apparently most Korean places use Koreanische Keramik Schüssel Koreanische Dolsot for Bibimbap & Jjigae). The flavour? Not really as expected since I prefer having very hot stone bowl and mixing it to have the crispy part of the rice. Japchae is served in a soup bowl with lots of MSG broth. Japchae is a STIR-FRIED dish, not a soup. So I'm quite confused with this. Flavour? Also a big no, as the broth makes the whole dish very confusing. Experience: Both the waiter & waitress do not seem to notice us waiting to order or to pay, as they are often standing/sitting behind the bar.

The things I like about the place are: (1) the drinks are nice, especially the hot tea, (2) all-vegan, so I don't need to worry about the choices, (3) location because it is in P-Berg.

Would I recommend this? No. But, I will do so if the place have better service & foods and more research on the right way to...

Koreanische?????- NOT AT ALL. This place doesn’t deserve to be called ā€œKoreanā€ restaurant. I would’ve rated 0, but gave 1 star for the friendly waiter. I ordered number 17. Japchae which is Korean glass noodle dish with vegetable, soy sauce, and (usually) sesame oil. However, I got a noodle soup - the picture is what I’ve got. I don’t even know how to call this dish. It is obviously a scam to non-korean people who don’t know what Japchae is. I’ve never seen any japchae with soup and the thing even worse is the soup wasn’t soy sauce based. If that was I could’ve tried to understand this dish as a fusion or new interpretation. What the hell is going on here! I am very sorry to say this but I have to. Your meals have their own charm, but don’t call yourself Korean restaurant. I’ve shared my experience today with my Korean friends & family and they were freaked out how people open Korean restaurants without elementary knowledge. Anyway, my dish was horrible as I knew what Japchae is but other dishes of my colleagues (still i can’t call those even fusion Korean except Bibimbap) some are good and some are mediocre. I wouldn’t come back.

Update: Have since been back several times and tried the Gimbap in which they use the Zeastar vegan tuna - Very tasty! I do believe the first vegan Korean restaurant in Berlin. Everything I had was very tasty! I had the Tteokbokki and I can definitely recommend it - the texture of the rice cakes was superb and the sauce was just spicy enough with real Gochujang, although just a little bit too sweet for my taste. I also had Dolsot Bibimbap, and it was very nice with excellent nooreungji (crispy texture) at the bottom! I had a delicious Oolong tea afterwards. Though most of the dishes seemed somewhat authentic, I did notice some dishes with the typical Berlin-Asian coconut and mango theme, but only a few. They also offer some vegan Korean BBQ (although there are no grills at the tables - they bring them to you) - I'm looking forward to trying it on my next visit! They also offer Gimbap, which I will also go back to try. Service was pleasant and the setup was nice and spacious. A very nice vegan Korean-style restaurant overall and I will be back :)
