I happened to be in Berlin for the “Karneval der Kulturen” and I walked pass this establishment. The “Feger” gave me a speakeasy vibes. My friend and I are were warmly greeted by bartender Jannes, who readily cleared us off a spot at the bar. Soon after co-bartender Mikey noticed that my friend and I are Americans and gave us awesome recommendations for drinks as well as suggestions for Berlin. My friend and I had planned to only stay for one digestif but two hours later we found ourselves chillin with bar manager Yusuf, who ended his shift and sat with us and changed the music in the bar to match our vibe. Came to Berlin from the US during Karnival weekend to visit my best friend and we came into this cozy bar just for one drink. And 2 hrs plus late were are still here. Yanis was the first bartender that greeted us warmly and made room for us at the bar. As we sat at the bar we continued to receive great service from all of the bartenders. Mike the bartender was great to us as well. He was another American and I was able to have good conversation about my drink choices and he made excellent recommendations for the drinks I had.
