Unfortunately there was no beer menu to be chosen from. I wanted to have a little beer and maybe a juice which is not included in the menu. The lovely waitress informed us that there is rarely someone ordering these two beverages but there would be a chance if we asked the bartender. In these pandemic times I would prefer not to have to speak closely more than absolutely necessary to the employees of a place where people frequent. I kindly asked for the extended menu or the menu on QR codes which also seemed to be a problem as the lady proceeded to tell me that this classical cocktail bar usually doesn't serve beer followed by the statement that the style of a cocktail bar cannot be paired with a technologic update referring to the qr code and no online menu for this bar could be looked up - even in these CoViD-19 times- which I heard with great shock.
Hence I left my opinion with 1 Star for the time of waiting, the content of the answers and the stubborness of actively not wanting to upgrade to a mechanism that is safe, hygienic and becoming the new standard around the world for sharing information on the product/business. By the way, QR or online check-in are a great way to count guests and given the circumstances, contact guests in case of emergency/active corona infected guests at the same time in the location.
Moreover, every guest has to knock in the door for entrance and has to touch the doorknob manually to exit. No cleaning personell or material nearby was to be seen. Recommended adjustment of this could prevent the spreading, especially considering that this cocktail bar is in Berlin, a heavily visited place in the world.
I hope this feedback helps you to understand and improve your business which is pleasing to the eye.

Read moreAfter sampling virtually all cocktail bars around Nollendorfplatz I should now declare my overall winner... and it's the Green Door!
Yes, I agree that sometimes the drinks take longer, and you should be resistant to smoke as well. However, apart from that the bar is excellent - the drinks are properly prepared, come in the right glassware, decorated nicely... so when your drink arrives you feel like in heaven!
You need the 'right approach' for the Green Door though - go early (before 9 or so), so you can sit at the tables, since the bar can get quite crowded later (and standing in the narrow way behind it becomes a bit tedious then). Also in this way waiting for drinks is not such a problem - just make sure to order early enough, and you will have a steady supply in front of you (and most of the points mentioned before don't apply anymore).
Personally I think the Green Door is most enjoyable if you go there as a couple/with a friend only - to sit on the sofa all night long and sample their cocktails, this is what the Green Door is truly excellent for. Well done, Green Door...

The menu is a bit odd, I think a lot of pre-mix. Which is not a bad thing, but they could then work on it and refine them a bit.
For example, most drinks had a lot of different ingredients which somehow did not show up. Or maybe don’t work well together or maybe something is too dominant?
We tried different drinks, didn’t hate it but also not coming back for it. The “Kate Moss” I had was really uneventful and rather boring. And then too expensive.
Service can’t really talk about drinks or recommend anything. A bit of a problem since the menu is mostly their creations. Also didn’t know what was available. Also said they can do most classics, but then wouldn’t or couldn’t do an old...
